Beverly Choltco-Devlin's nature illustration class was rescheduled to July 24th, Noon to 4:30 PM. 5 spots have opened up! Beverly is a life long artist and has extensive experience as a nature illustration instructor, having taught classes around the country. No prior art experience is required for this class. Thursday, August 15th, 2 to 3:30 PM at the Adriana Hess Wetland Center in University Place: Join Tahoma Bird Alliance member and volunteer Laura Martinez for an all ages nature journaling class. Make a simple journal from paper and string, then head out to draw around the park! This class is suitable for ages 5 and up, but all minors must be accompanied by an adult. Register on our website! Last Chance to Sign up for Bird Photography with Heather Voboril! This 3 part class starts tomorrow, Wednesday June 5th, 6PM at the Adriana Hess Wetland Center. You'll learn to fine tune your camera for challenging outdoor photography conditions. Saturday morning June 8th, join your classmates at Titlow Beach where you'll have opportunities to try out your new techniques in the field. We had the most wonderful Birdability walk this morning with an amazing group from Sequoia Therepeutic Recreation! We missed the rain, we saw lots of birds, a young male black-tailed deer, and even a river otter!

Sehmel Homestead walks are back, every 3rd Wednesday of the month, 8-10:30AM, through October! Led by Tahoma Bird Alliance volunteer Melissa Sherwood, these walks welcome birders of all ages and skill levels. Meet in the southeast parking area by the Pavilion. Turn right when you come off 101st St NW and keep going until you pass the Pavilion on your right. Join us tomorrow, May 15th. We hope to see you there!
