Throw-Back Thursday! Fall 1999 Audition Video of Anna Magnusson Sogell one of our finest dancers (very talented, very hard-working, very artistic, and very beautiful heart and spirit). Anna was accepted into the Kirov Academy, Pacific Northwest Ballet, School of American Ballet, and Boston Ballet. At the age of 17, Anna received one of the the 20 spots (worldwide) for her age group to School of American Ballet's Summer 2000 Intensive. At the end of the Intensive, Anna was offered employment with multiple US ballet companies. Anna chose to attain her degree in Physical Therapy. She now lives in Sweden with her husband and two adorable children.

Our beautiful dancers raised right here at Tacoma City Ballet, Eamon Barry-Ware and Jasmine Gutoski, performed the Pas de Deux choreographed especially for Tacoma Opera's upcoming blockbuster production of CARMEN. They were accompanied by the wonderful Northwest Sinfonietta to whom we are so grateful for providing the gorgeous live music.
