Every year at our Symposium we come together with our community to think aspirationally about what a child and youth centered community could look like. At our 2019 Symposium, attendees were asked to envision how a child and youth centered community would change their homes, their neighborhoods, and their daily routines, and how collectively, these actions would change our cities and policies to better support children and youth. But what do children and youth have to say?...Listen to the video below to hear from a few young people in our community about what they like to see in their neighborhoods and community. "I like going to places that are clean, but not too clean. You worry about making a mess." "I know that I belong somewhere when people are nice to me." "I know I'm welcome somewhere when there's furniture my size." Be on the lookout for registration information for the 2022 Promise of Play Symposium happening on May 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the McGavick Conference Center at Clover Park Tech! #greentrike #promiseofplay #childcenteredcommunity

The Right to Play Gala is back and in-person for 2022, and we hope you'll join us! The Gala is an opportunity for us to raise awareness on the importance of quality childhood experiences, and the support we receive from our community ensures that every child and young person in our community has the right to play. More information coming soon. #greentrike #righttoplay #championplay
