Our members of Alpha Omicron Pi participated in Big Event community service projects on Saturday and won the trophy for most volunteers! We love serving our campus and Tahlequah community!

“My position acts as a delegate at our Panhellenic meetings. Expressing to the other Sorority Chapters what AOII events we have coming up. My position is also in charge of Homecoming Week and Greek Week in the Fall and Greek Sing in the Spring! Basically, any all-Greek Events during the semesters fall under my position. While I haven’t gotten the opportunity to do an event yet, last year I really enjoyed Greek Week. As it gave me a chance to connect with more of my sisters when I first got initiated. I am also excited about being a part of NSU’s 100th Homecoming this fall! Overall, I am ecstatic to apply more of my position in the future!”

“I was a COB, just like some of you might be this semester. Recruitment was a scary thought to me so I didn’t go through. Coming to college, I met some of the best women I have met and they just so happened to be in AOII! The girls here made me feel loved and accepted, one of them ended up becoming my big :) Because of them I joined and I have found nothing but love and support since. I am still here because I have found that sense of belonging I was searching for when I came to college. I have made some of the best friends I’ve ever had and I know that I will always have someone there when I need it.”

So proud of our girls, Kappa Sigma, and Phi Sig for putting on a great performance last night. For the past few months, they have been rehearsing for this night on BROADWAY!! All their hard work paid off for this amazing performance made by our very own sister and director, Kurrin, with help from Freddy from Kappa Sigma! Cannot wait to see what next year will bring!!!

“I immediately clicked with two sisters at Greek tailgate and felt at home/relief with AOII while going through recruitment. A steady occurrence in our chapter is that most girls did not see themself in a sorority, including myself, until we felt the safety and love of our sisters. We have so many unique personalities and such amazing people, it’s always a fun time and I would do it all over again! I stayed because I absolutely do not know where I would be without the support of my sisters or if I never joined. Being the older sister can feel tough sometimes especially without anyone to guide you. I can always count on them and I never have to feel alone. These people are my family forever.”
