The bad news- Mister squirrel won’t have his truffles to snack on this winter...
The good news- I’m not pulling Mr. squirrel out of the dryer fan....
Please make sure your dryer vent has a screen if you want to keep the rodents out!

Wow! What a mess!
Yes, that’s lint and yes, those are scorch marks. Even with the safety features in a modern appliance I’m surprised it didn’t catch fire.
A yearly cleaning and inspection can prevent this.
