This is a staple in our home: Homemade whole wheat sandwich bread that we make from fresh milled hard red wheat berries. We use recipe for simple whole wheat bread and it’s perfection every time.
This week we sold our first bags of hard red wheat fresh milled flour! We sent bread and cinnamon roll recipes home with the bags, but the possibilities of yum are endless.

Cinnamon rolls are one of our favorite breakfast treats. We made ours with 100% fresh milled hard and soft wheats and they taste amazing!
Fresh milled wheat means more protein and fiber because you eat the germ and bran along with the starchy endosperm. This is what we call a win win cinnamon (roll).

Our plan is to mill fresh wheat for homemade recipes for our noble grain friends soon!

Our kids wanted to make something to sell. We wanted to teach the next Gen about business. We had a lot of ideas (bees wax reusable wraps sounded good until we realized how hot and sticky wax and resin are 😅), but as we talked about supply and demand we thought about our favorite treat: freshly milled whole wheat chocolate chip cookies. They are in high demand in our house and we wanted to supply our friends with the mix we perfected.
