Big Bend is heading into our fifth season! Our team is notorious for good energy and spirit. Last year we focused on being more competitive while not losing our team's identity. We are looking to amp up the club by having committed players whose focus is on building team chemistry, having competitive practices, and playing as many tournaments as possible.

To start getting ready for the season, we are going to hold open scrimmages on May 4, 7, and 11. May 4 and 11 (both Wednesdays) will be at Messer at 6:00 PM. May 7 (Saturday) will be at the Tom Brown softball fields at 9 AM.
This is to get everyone all warmed up for Tryouts! We have 2 tryout dates: Sunday May 15th and Saturday May 21st (time and place TBA, most likely morning). You can attend one or both (let us know if neither works for you).

What a start! This crew made a big splash at the Sunshine State Games, jumping to a second place finish (!!🥈!!) in our first tournament of the year! Love to see our metamorphosis into an even more competitive team than ever before 😁😁😁 As we called at the top of our lungs all weekend: "Big! Bend! Big! Bend! Yyyyyyeaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!"

Hey bendy friends! If you filled out our interest form, check your email for an exciting announcement! (And read the whole email please!) If you missed the deadline for the form but you are interested in playing for Big Bend, send Taylor Mischler or Camille Beasley a message. If you said you were unable or uninterested in playing for Big Bend, you did not receive an email, sorry! It doesn't mean we love you any less, it's just that right now our focus is on safety and we gotta keep our numbers manageable.
We just want to make it clear: FL's new school sports bill is wrong & bad. We support ALL athletes (even cis ones!) on this team.
