SpeakPublishing was founded May 2008 as a subsidiary of the Michael Beckford Group LLC by Michael Beckford.
Speak Publishing is the premier publisher of Christian and inspirational fiction books. This subsidiary will have a few imprints which will include a Children’s Book imprint as well as catering to the young adult audience. This division of SpeakPublishing will concentrate 90% of its publishing efforts on fiction, while the other 10% will be directed towards poetry, biographies and inspirational format books.

The Morning After
“Who in the hell are you,” Gloria Hamburger asked with a frown that even Satan would despise.
“Umm…uh… good morning to you, too,” the man said, his eyes cold. The time was just seven-thirty on a Sunday morning and his hangover already loomed large.
“Well… n***a I don’t know who the hell you are and how you got here, but your ass got five minutes to be out of my house. I got to get to church.” Gloria yanked back the sheets and comforter off the stocky build of the cappuccino colored man in his mid-thirties. She exposed every part of his birth. Not that every part was visible at first glance, because much of the extra fat in his stomach naturally covered most of his lower extremities. And he had breasts like a lactating woman. But, regardless of his shear obesity, this was Gloria’s type of flavor of the hour. She loved messing with big men, so for her to question his nakedness in her home at the time, she must have lost her mind.
The man marginally tugged at Gloria’s left arm, “But baby I’m tired, and you told me you wanted us to get to know each other on a deeper level.”
“Oh yeah,” she sucked her teeth. “I must be was drunk, and maybe even imagining things. Maybe I’m imagining things now because your black ass is still here. And get your hands up off me. Like I said, Smokey the Bear, I got to go to church.”
She hurled a whiplash of an insult his way. Yet, the man was too tired to be angry or upset.
He continued to plead his case, “Gloria, can you at least give me just a few more minutes, I don’t even think I can drive home right now.”
Wait a minute, how does he know my name? Was I that far gone last night that I don’t remember this Negroes name. But he knows mine.
Gloria continued, “Well, your black ass can find you an Uber for as much as I care. Right now you got two minutes to be out of my bed and out of my house, or I’m calling the cops.
I don’t know why I told this fat n***a he has two minutes. Everybody knows that big boys be taking long to go anywhere. They start sweating and breathing hard, and it’s like a mile for them to get down and tie their own shoes.
Only God knows why I keep messing with these big men.
