Thanks to Tropical Storm Sara, the northern Honduran city of La Ceiba has received nearly 22 inches of rain in 24 hours, causing "potentially life-threatening flash flooding and mudslides."

The storm will be fairly weak as it emerges into the Gulf of Mexico Tuesday. There is strong model agreement that a cold front will steer it toward Florida next week.

Lee County Sheriff's Office says 11-year-old Ahlianna Anka Morales is missing and endangered. She's from Lehigh Acres. If you know where she is, call LCSO at 239-477-1000.
Cape Coral Police Department arrested a man for DUI after he crashed into one of CCPD's SUVs. Thank goodness the SUV was unoccupied at the time. This happened on November 9, 2024 around 2:40 a.m. CCPD shared this video with us.
