Celebrating 25 years, LeMoyne’s Chain of Parks Art Festival returns on Saturday and Sunday, April 26 & 27, 2025, in downtown Tallahassee’s “Chain of Parks”. Apply to be a Children’s Pop-Up Studio, Local Heritage Booth, Interactive Art Vendor, Community Partner, Brand Ambassador, Food Vendor, or Entertainer!

Expect to have a first-class, fun-filled outdoor cultural experience at the Chain of Parks Art Festival, in downtown Tallahassee! Visitors can view and purchase unique works of fine art from over 150 national juried artists in a delightful Southern outdoor setting. while enjoying a weekend filled with live 3-D street art, live entertainment by local bands and performing arts groups, children’s art activities and family fun, local heritage re-enactments, delicious local food, craft beer & cocktails. Nationally ranked in the Top 100 Fine Art Festivals by Sunshine Artist Magazine for 10 years running, this annual two-day festival draws tens of thousands of people from the Big Bend Southeast region to experience all of the fun and see fine artists who have traveled from all over the country to display their original works of art.

🌹Like our previous Rainbarrel, Birdhouse, and Chair upcycled sculpture projects, the Chain of Parks Art Festival is back with an exciting new pop-up public art exhibit and competition leading up to the festival weekend! To celebrate 25 years of the Festival, we will select up to 25 local and regional artists to create artisan planter sculptures, to display throughout Downtown Tallahassee from March 25 – April 25, 2025. All sculptures will be transferred to the Festival for the exhibit conclusion and silent auction in our "Chalk Art Oasis" area, benefiting LeMoyne Arts on April 26 & 27, 2025.

🌻Participants will receive a $100 stipend to cover materials and qualify for a chance to win a $100 People's Choice Award (voting takes place at the Festival).

🌸The jury is looking for whimsical, creative, sustainable, weather-resistant, planter sculptures with a focus on utilizing upcycled materials to help with our Greening message. Not a sculptor? No problem! You can use an upcycled planter as your base, or, you can sculpt it completely from scratch! It's up to you. Mixed media is encouraged. Feel free to join forces and create your masterpiece with a partner or small group!

🎨The 2024 Chain of Parks Art Festival introduced a new special category and section of the Festival focused on the traditions of Folk Art and Fine Craft (a.k.a Heritage Art). While always featuring fine art, the Festival celebrates all of the arts including music, dance, street art, and now, heritage art! Heritage art is often defined as decorative or practical artwork that showcases traditional techniques from a specific culture or region; unique to the artistic heritage of a group of people, and viewed as an expression of society. It is steeped in grassroots history and often distinguished from more academic (and traditionally Western) “Fine Art”. Artists in this category are now eligible to win a $300 Merit award 🏆

Something Good: Chain of Parks Art Festival ranked number one art festival in Florida The Chain of Parks Art Festival is held each year in April and is approaching its twenty-fifth year of celebrating local art and culture in Tallahassee.

🌟EXCITING NEWS! 🌟LeMoyne Arts' 2024 Chain of Parks Art Festival is ranked the #1 Florida art festival & the #7 art festival nationwide in the Fine Art and Design category according to Sunshine Artist Magazine.

Artists cast their votes to nominate their highest money-making show for 2024. The results were tabulated using a weighted scale based on four sales levels to ensure all events competed fairly. “Sunshine Artist’s 200 Best" focuses solely on artist show revenue because that is the most objective indicator of a show’s future success,” the publication said in a press release.

“The Chain of Parks Art Festival, about to see its 25th year of bringing the nation’s top fine artists to the Capital City, has become one of Tallahassee’s favorites. With the support of our community and the dedication of our volunteers and staff, this celebration of art and culture has been recognized as one of the best in the nation for 10 years,” said Festival Chair Kelly Dozier. “The Festival committee and volunteers work hard to make this a fun and successful event for all and to be recognized among the top 10 festivals in the nation means the world to us.”
