As I sit here, amidst the excitement of another Opening Day at this beloved ballpark, my heart is overflowing with emotion. For the past 8 years, Levy Park has been more than just a venue for baseball games. It has been the backdrop to countless cherished memories for me and my family. 14 seasons flew by!

Watching our two boys take to the field, their eyes filled with determination and passion, has been a journey of immense pride and joy. Through every swing of the bat and every pitch
thrown, we've witnessed them grow into remarkable young men, guided by the lessons learned on this very diamond.

But the significance of this place extends far beyond the games played. It's about the bonds forged, the friendships kindled, and the sense of community that envelops us all. Here,
we haven't just met fellow baseball enthusiasts; we've found a second family, united by a shared love for the game and a willingness to support one another through thick and thin.

When I lost my father, it was the warmth and compassion of this baseball community that lifted me up and carried my family through the storm. For that, I will be forever grateful.

As I prepare to bid farewell to my role as President of this park, I am filled with mixed emotions. It's hard to believe that my time here has come to an end, but I take solace in knowing
that I leave behind a legacy of passion and dedication. Just as my father was a guiding presence at Meridian Park, I have found purpose and connection in leading this community forward.

To the young athletes who have graced this field, I see in each of you the promise of a bright future for our baseball community. You carry with you the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship
that defines this place, and I have no doubt that you will continue to make us proud in the years to come.

To Jen Turner and Brent Sims, who will take the reins, I have every confidence in your ability to nurture and grow this park into an even greater hub of talent and camaraderie. Your
dedication is unwavering, and I know that Levy Park will thrive under your leadership.

As I reflect on the countless memories made at Levy Park, I am overcome with gratitude. This park have been our home away from home, a sanctuary of joy and camaraderie that will forever
hold a special place in my heart. Thank you all for so many great years.

This week was special for a team out at Levy. The TCC Baseball team came out and worked with Madison Social. What a great group of kids! Thank you Bryan Henry and players for coming out and giving the kids a great experience. We hope to have them out more throughout the Fall!

Levy is also excited to welcome back Matt Thompson this fall! Matt coached his son JR Thompson when he was at Levy! He is now 15! We always love when these great coaches come back!
