Tallahassee's only professionally run, competitive travel lacrosse program for ages U10 through High School.
Tallahassee Terror is a non-profit travel lacrosse program based in Tallahassee, Florida. We seek serious and motivated players who are interested in improving their game by playing a competitive travel schedule. Our goal is to teach sportsmanship, team-oriented lacrosse, game fundamentals, and enhance individual skills and athleticism in a competitive setting.
Ended the Palm Coast Father’s Day Invitational Tourney 2-2 in some hard fought games! The growth these boys had this summer was amazing to be apart of. The fun isn’t over because we will continue to have Sunday practices into late July! Keep a look out for our professionally hosted training camp with PLL legend Myles Jones on August 31st! Most importantly, remember to move with CHARACTER.
Great way to start the first Summer tournament back for Tallahassee Terror! This was the first time this group of young men played together as a team and they grew tremendously over the course of weekend. Ending 3-1 in hard fought and exhilarating games, it’s safe to say these players represented Tallahassee well. Looking forward to see how much more they grow this summer. Congrats to for winning the Tournament ball from his tremendous efforts on the field.

Next up is Hunter Chang! Coach Hunter has been playing lacrosse for 10 years and has been playing goalie for 8 of those years. He is graduating with his Bachelor’s Degree at the end of the summer and possibly coming back to FSU for his Master’s Degree. This past season was his first year playing MCLA lacrosse at FSU. After an exciting season, he was awarded First Team All SELC Goalie and who knows, maybe he will come back to play for a second year 🤔. Thanks Coach Hunter for your hard work and dedication!
We have two new coaches to introduce! Starting with Morgan Bell, Morgan is from Tallahassee and played for Terror since U-11. He played for Lincoln and was a 3-time first-team All Big Bend attackman. He now attends Belmont Abbey College and is a 2-time Conference Carolina’s Champion. He also loves chocolate milk. Thanks Morgan for your hard work and dedication!

It’s official! We are now PLL verified. Looking forward to future opportunities involving the best lacrosse league in the world. This is a step in the right direction for our club and great for our goal in growing the game and helping the kids compete at a high level.

Great clinic ran by Coach Morgan Bell! The boys got better and learned some new tricks to step up their offensive game. Congrats to Luke Springer for winning the lacrosse head in the shooting competition! Keep working hard young men.

Next up is Coach Morgan! He’s an active NCAA Division II player at Belmont Abbey. He specializes in offensive development but can also help teach the fundamentals to newer players.—————————————————————————
Last we have Coach Jonas! He specializes on defensive players but can help develop players on both sides of the ball as well. Very open to teaching the fundamentals for new players but can also teach some valuable skills to higher level players.
Great weekend for the program! Our top team, Terror Black, won the Gold Championship! 🥇They steamrolled the competition. Our Coaches also had a rough start but finished as Men’s League Champions in the silver bracket! 🥈 The most important part is that everyone grew from the weekend. Highlights incoming…..
Great scrimmage today! Shout out to for the lacrosse heads. This helped set up a lot of our new guys with a good starter stick and put us in a good spot for future players! Thank you for stringing the heads for us as well!

Coach Jonas started his lacrosse career at Leon High School as a sophomore under and . His immediate love for the sport caused him to literally take it and run with it. During his time at Leon he earned a captain position, the Leon Bielby leadership award as well as First Team All-Big Bend Defender after a 15-5 season. He went on to play four years on the Florida State Men’s Lacrosse team in which he was a three-time captain, 22’ All-Conference Defender and 23’ All-Conference Long-stick Midfielder. Coach Jonas also participated on the FSU LAX executive board as the Travel & Safety Officer and Vice President for the 22’ and 23’ seasons respectively. He has been a lacrosse coach in Tallahassee since 2018 and became the Head Coach of Leon Lacrosse fall of 21’. This season he was honored with the 2023 All-Big Bend Coach of the year award after a 15-4 winning season. Coach Jonas has now taken over the task as the newest Director for Tallahassee Terror Lacrosse club and is excited to get back into action. As a Terror alumni and influence under , Jonas understands the importance of playing year-round in some form, especially when you start later than most. The main message from our new director is it’s never too late to start your lacrosse career.
Final round of coaches bios! Coach DeShawn “Shawn” Brown is a young man we strive to be. His drive on and off the field are what set him apart from his peers. He’s currently going into his sophomore year at Florida State University as well as his second year on their men’s team as a Long Stick Midfielder (LSM). He is a product of the Leon High School Lacrosse team where he began his journey under his now peer .clingerman. During his time at Leon, Shawn earned the Bielby and Price Thornall leadership awards. He was also the Scholar Athlete for his team his sophomore, junior and senior year. Coach Shawn is excited to help create a fun culture for the Terror community as well as spread his wisdom to those who need it. “In the morning, the sun will rise, but if it don’t, you have died.”
Jeremiah “Jerry” Williams has been apart of the Tallahassee lacrosse community for 5 years now. He started his lacrosse journey at Lincoln high school as a goalie, his senior year. He has been coaching year round for the past 4 years and is excited to come back and coach for Terror. He coached at Holy Comforter for a year and is now going on year 3 as the varsity defensive coordinator at Lincoln. He’s excited to score some goals this fall during Men’s league and will try to not sprain his MCL again.
Coach Joey is from Boca Raton Florida and is alumni of Boca Raton Community High school.
During his time there he played LSM and close defense. Coach Joey is going into his third year of coaching at Leon High School where he will return as the JV head coach for the 2024 season. His passion is mentoring youth athletes in succeeding off and on the field. He also has a fraternal twin brother.
Round four of coaches bios! Coach Lou brings 14 years of coaching experience to the Tallahassee Terror. He spent several seasons coaching at the club, and high school levels. Lou earned the 2017 All-Big-Bend coach of the year award after leading Leon to a phenomenal 15-5 season. Following 2017 year he spent 5 seasons at the college club level as a longtime assistant and then head coach. He originally began his coaching career with the Terror during the inaugural season under Chuck Minter, respectively. He is currently serving in his second season as head coach with Lincoln high school. His nickname is “The Ice Man” and he has the experience to back it up.
Coach Jonah started his lacrosse career at Leon High School. While attending, he was awarded 2nd Team All-Big Bend midfielder. He is very excited to start his coaching journey with Terror and we are happy to have him. He golfs 5 days a week so he’s going to have to make time for coaching!
Coach Matthew started playing at Chiles High School as a goalie. He has been coaching alongside his peer this past year and is excited Terror lacrosse is back. He’s also a huge fan of the muppets!
Third round of coaches bios! Coach Carlos started playing lacrosse at Leon High School. While he was there he made First Team All-Big Bend and team MVP his senior year. He now plays defensive middie at Florida State. Carlos is also going into his 4th year coaching at Leon! As a Terror LAX alumni, Carlos is excited to get back on the field with his peers and players. He also goes by coach Carl!
Coach Mikey started his lacrosse career at Holy Comforter Episcopal School in which he was known as the Red Baron for his tenacity. He went on to play four years as a varsity player at Leon High School. During his time at Leon Mikey earned 2x Defensive Player, 2x First Team All-Big Bend Defender, the Bielby Leadership award, 3x Varsity Captain and team MVP his senior year. Mikey is a Terror alumni himself and is psyched to get back on the field and back to his roots at Holy Comforter.
Coach Mitchell is a Terror alumni and has been coaching Tallahassee lacrosse since graduating HS in 2016. As the JV head coach at Chiles, he had a 24-3 record in 3 years, including a 9-0 undefeated season. He then joined the Maclay staff as JV & MS head coach, and Varsity goalie coach. This coming spring he will be coaching at Leon to help out with the goalies. He currently works as a mental health provider in Tallahassee, and is ecstatic to further grow the game with the rebirth of Terror. He also loves his Australian Shepards dearly.
Second round of coaches bios! Coach Caleb started playing lacrosse in Tallahassee Terror inaugural season under Coach Minter. He played for team Florida for 5 years and made the Florida class of 2019 brine all American team. He Went to Lincoln where he was 3X first team all big bend and holds the records for all time goals and most in a season. Started coaching his senior of high school with youth teams in terror then coached holy comforter for 1 year and is now the offensive coach at Lincoln for 2 years. Caleb is part of the top .5% of listeners for Greta Van Fleet. He will also respond to John Snow or Merlin.
