In July of this year I did something that I've also wanted to do. Like many children, I wanted to be star. I've always dreamed of my songs playing over the radio and being proud that I created something. In 2022, I was able to do just that. Since times have change and the consumption of music has evolve, my song was never played over the radio. Nevertheless, it was placed on several multimedia platforms and viewed by many.

Though these number didnt come close to my expectations, I'm still grateful. So to those of you who took the time to listen, put it on a Playlist or even just liked a post...thank you.

My dreams will finally become a reality...
Despite many setbacks and some personal failures...it's about to happen.
Since I was 6 years old, all I've ever wanted to do was sing and make music. Music has always been my passion. While I may not become a Rockstar, I would still dream. Now my dream of releasing a song will be a reality. I can finally check this off my bucket list.
A lot of you have always supported me, providing encouragement and uplifting words; that's what got me through! Thank you all so much, from the bottom of my heart. It means more than words can ever express.

It's Monday...

Here's to new beginnings and a new life. Great things are coming just...keep..going!

I've got a story to tell. While unique, it's not unfamiliar. I hope change and inspiration can be gained through these moments.

I was attempting to take a picture by using the "pro" settings on my phone's camera but I put the settings too high. It ended up distorting the image all together and became something abstract.

This made me think a bit. I realize how often we use different settings in our personality to hide who we really are. We over correct our mistakes and past behaviors with such extreme alterations that we distort our self image. We often bend to self doubt and hide behind superficial charactistics so we aren't truly exposed.

Understand that the person who hides behind these "character filters" is perfect. You are perfect. You've done the best you can up to this point in your life. Take a moment to stop and appreciate your journey thus far.

Close your eyes, take a deep breath then release. Sit and let your heart appreciate you. You will be okay, it's going to be okay.

It's my first love. It's my therapy, my everything. Music has helped me experience life in a way where it would make sense to me. One day, it will indeed change the world.

Can't believe it's already November! Now it's time for hot chocolate and Christmas music. The next few weeks can be hectic so don't forget to breathe and create emotional checkpoints so you're not overwhelmed.
