We get it. It's a real struggle- the fear, the worry, and the panic that comes with it. But we want to help! So here are our top tips for improving anxiety:
1) Take a deep breath. Seriously. Just breathe in through your nose, hold it for a moment, then exhale slowly through your mouth. This will help calm you down by slowing down your heart rate and calming your body's responses to stress hormones like adrenaline.
2) Get outside! Getting some fresh air can be extremely beneficial for people who are struggling with anxiety because it increases endorphin levels in your brain—and endorphins are known to reduce stress and improve moods! So go on a walk around the block or just sit on your porch for 20 minutes with a cup of tea (or coffee if that's more your style).
3) Meditate! Meditation is an amazing way to relax both mentally and physically by clearing out any negative thoughts that may be keeping you up at night or making it hard for you to focus during the day. It's also great because there are so many different kinds of meditation techniques out there so everyone can find something they love
