I believe that how we view ourselves has a huge impact on where we end up in life. Our self-perception and how we talk to ourselves can influence our decisions and ultimately our future. When we believe in ourselves and have a positive attitude, we're much more likely to take risks and try new things, which can lead to big successes. On the other hand, if we have a negative self-image and talk ourselves down, we often miss out on opportunities and end up stuck in a rut. So, always be kind to yourself and have faith in your abilities - you never know where it might take you!

What is worth suffering for?

Everything is hard in the same way. It’s hard to be in the wrong relationship. It’s hard to be in the right one. It’s hard to be broke and miserable, it’s hard to achieve your dreams.

Everything is hard, but you choose your hard. You choose what’s worth it. You don’t choose whether you’ll suffer or not, but you do choose what you want to suffer for.

I read this verse yesterday and allowed it to sink in more than ever. I’ve become more impatient as I hit my 3 month mark on the cruise because I have so many brands I have the opportunity to work with, waiting in my emails.

Unfortunately, I have social media and content creating on hold until October. It’s put me in a mental battle of even considering if I’m still considered a creator or even an influencer to you, my followers. I had to realize when I was speaking to God one night, that he already knows what’s next. Why was I worrying when I know that he already has something bigger planned for me?

In that moment, I realized I need to continue to remain patient and give up any anxiety and worry to the Lord and put my full faith in knowing it’s already done and set for me. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to take you along my journey with living and working on a cruise at such a young age. That in itself is such a cool way to bring forth different content for my followers!

I will say, working 7 days a week with 14-15 hour days is brutal, but I’ll tell ya…it’s worth it!

When people ask me how do I do it, well the honest answer is just like anything and everything else in life when it comes to change, you get used to it! Your body gets used to it, your feet too lol! The people and guests that you meet and serve are what make the actual 6 months worth staying!

If you were wondering if it’s a good idea to work on a cruise, I would say HELL YEAH! The younger the better! You get to save every penny, free housing (because you live on the boat), free food, and BEAUTIFUL sights to see! The major point I would consider is the huge growth opportunity you have. When I say that, it’s an understatement.

I believe God placed me where I am so I can learn to slow down in life since my mind is always racing and on the go. I’m never actually present, failing to recognize that as I’m wishing and rushing to my future, I’m presently living the life and have the things I prayed for. Patience hasn’t always been my virtue but since being on this boat, I’ve learned and continue to learn patience. Patience with the social environment, physical labor, myself, and with my career. Having to put my career/social media on a big hold until the end of my contract has definitely sucked but I realized it was for a reason!

I’ve come across Rockland, Cambridge and Bar Harbor Maine. Super cute towns, I’m not a small town gal but I’m enjoying the community aspect so far!

Chapter 2: I want to thank you all for your patience and engagement. I’ve transitioned into a huge change in my life living and working on a cruise for 6 months. I want to take these 6 months to grow, learn, experience new things, travel and keep myself out of my comfort zone. I’m growing into the person I’m called to be and in order to do that, I’m going to have to shift my focus for a while. I will remain posting content when applicable, but it won’t be what you guys are used to until I can equally balance influencing with the level of growth I want to step into. Thank you for your support and for coming along with me on this journey. Many of you have stayed since I only had 500 followers and have seen my growth of the past 3 years. Thank you, I can’t stress it enough how appreciative I am. I means the world.

In the mean time, I’ll be posting my journey, places I visit and post along the way! I can my wait for you to see it all with me!
