Gilca Lorenis also known as GilcaLArts. She was born in Passaic, NJ November 22,1989. It all started with a dream really. A fantasy of how great life could truly be for her. She was looking for ways out of her situation, yet holding on to such inspiration and love for nature. She was motivated by the power of manifestation. In 2018, under the Leo full moon she picked up her very first paint brush. And thinking nothing of it, something magical happened. A new form of meditation became the motivation, which she now identifies as her paintings. Her vision kicked started everything to what she now calls, “Her Mission to Freedom” The moment and the longing of all that her spirit was missing and what she has set for that chosen path. Becoming what she’s never seen before. Everything is growth. She believed that being an artist is something that one is born to do an not learned in school. She went on to study through live art events, learning through trial and error and mostly self-learning. As she continues her Mission To Freedom, she hopes that her art will connect with other souls on deeper levels. 💫

The only time you should ever look back is to see how far you’ve come. It’s been one journey that I’m truly thankful for. A female should be two things:
1. who
and
2. what she wants.
Everything is possible. 🌕 💫
I climbed every mountain in my mind to become this female inside. I’m grateful for the relationships I’m rebuilding and creating new memories with.
