As we get ready for our 13th Birthday Bash on August 4th, we’re reminded of how it all got started. From the beginning, Kaleisia was founded as a place for everyone to be welcomed and feel safe, free to be who they want to be... to be accepted... and most importantly fight for social justice. The Gifts of Love is our vehicle to fund local organizations and activists. This is our 13th Annual Gifts of Love and we’d love to hear about nonprofits that you care about. Kuumba Dancers and Drummers
Kuumba Dancers and Drummers is a Gifts of Love Foundation grant recipient. Myron and Natalie Jackson continues to be just as dedicated to their work in the community as they did over 40 years ago.
