I have these almost 5ft long framed pieces that we took out of a barn at a cranberry bog in Lakeville.
I personally thought they looked great with framed pictures hanging in each squared section. 🙂
But.... check out what my awesome creative thinking customer did!

Putting together some of the bundles of different crates for The pro.found market and I'm always fascinated by some of the markings....
How did a seedling tray marked Aberdeen Scotland end up at a small orchard in Dighton MA.?
It just amazes me!

February 2020 we came across these 5ft long frame "thingies" stacked up in a barn at a cranberry bog in Lakeville MA. Unfortunately no-one at the property knew what they were used for...so their story remains a mystery.
But....when you sand them, oil them and attach crate wood to the back it makes a great big beautiful frame to display framed pictures!
We've sold these at The pro.found market every year since and these 4 are the last of them!
Grab em' while you can! 🙂

Wanted to take a moment to share the sad news of the passing of Ms. Clara earlier this week. She was the reason I fell in love with Bulldogs! Absolutely beautiful and surrounded with love every single day of her life by her owner Leigh and her family. She happily donated her time to be our Crate Dog Bed model and her professionalism was just adorable. She made you want to snuggle up with her in the bed! ❤ Beautiful, beautiful girl that will be missed by so many especially her loving family.

Happy Sunday everyone! Yesterday's rainy, rainy day was the perfect day to finish up the latest Morris Chair makeover!
The before, during and after pictures show the old gal just wanted to shine again!

My love for antique Morris Chairs continues!
We found this chair in Jamestown RI back in October and I've been slowly picking away at it. When I find one with the original brass back support...I just can't pass it up!
Sanding spindles is not fun, my friends😜 but the effort is worth it....I think it's coming along nicely.
Sanded the entire chair, replaced and recovered the seat, tightened up the joints and gave it a nice staining and waxing.
Next up I'll make the new cushions and upholster....stay tuned!

Gearing up for market season!

Sometimes going into a basement with a rickety freight elevator is scary......but when you find these gorgeous solid wood folding theater seats out of RI. from the 1930's it's soooo worth it!
And we got a bunch of them!! They are gorgeous!!!
These will be available at the upcoming markets we'll be participating in later this year. 😍
