Simply choosing lighter colors not only brightens up your space, but also goes a long way to making it feel more spacious. That was definitely the case with this kitchen update. 💡🏡

This beautiful family cabin in the mountains of North Carolina was built by hand from trees on the property. The lumber was beautiful and structural but in need of some refinishing and tlc. It had been at the mercy of the weather and pesky carpenter bees. We protected it with an Australian Timber Oil Stain called "honey teak." It really brought out the natural colors of the various wood that was used to build this house. We also used an "Outlast" stain additive to deter bees and other pests from damaging the wood. It turned out beautifully without losing its natural brilliance.

We have been blessed with the opportunity to work on a project for a group of people that have such a big impact on the community and beyond! Go check out The Logos Theatre if you haven't already! They put on some amazing productions!

It's always satisfying to get rid of water damage and mold. Especially when we get to replace it with beautiful flooring, like this "toasted ivory" LVP!

This was a very unique lakehouse bathroom remodel. We've never done white and black with a rustic wood color accent, but we absolutely love how it turned out.

Unique whiskey barrel vanity! This was an authentic oak Jack Daniel's whiskey barrel that was turned into a vanity. Super cool project to work on! The Mountaineer is finally complete and will be listed for sale on Sunday! So excited to show everyone the full renovation!

Whiskey barrel vanity is almost finished! I have to do some improvising to fit the space. So excited to show everyone the finished look with the sink and faucet. Decided not to use a stain because oak is so pretty. Tung Oil, Polycrylic, and Shellac brought all the natural colors out.

She's starting to come together. Love how the slideout framing turned out . . . And how about that fridge 😍

Our next project is a 33' Keystone Montana Mountaineer. Very spacious with 2 slide outs. She will make a a great long term home for someone looking to downsize. Straight from the Blue Ridge Mountains! 😎
