Sure I use tools that help me edit or create backgrounds but the person in each image is shown as they are . No body adjustments , no face changes, none of that . Becoming a mother is both challenging and very rewarding . Women throw on that new mother hat ontop of the strong woman, the wife, the comforter, the teacher, the healer, hats. They give so much that they forget the queen inside. Stand tall ladies . Your still beautiful, your still that queen. And this is how you are seen.

Don’t be afraid to shoot in midday sun . Learn how to work your shadows. Take your time , stop and look at what the lights doing . You can get great shots any time of the day without extra equipment . Anyone who tells ya otherwise is jus afraid to do it.

It’s been a while. But I’m still here. Football season and work have been keeping me quite busy. Sadly the season is over for this years seniors. If you havnt seen my sports work check out my other page . I enjoy creating memories for athletes.

But its time to get back to portraits. Another love of mine is shooting against seascapes and the ocean. It’s a blessing to live near coastal areas. I have another beach shoot this weekend and I’m planning some shoots at my home studio to create more client looks.

I should take more bts. I get so caught up in the shoot that I jus forget. I even forget to ask the ladies who work with me. I wanted to create something that gives perfume ad vibes but not bright and airy. I wanted soft shadows that fall into a dark background . I like bling, and layered outfits. It’s hard to express your vision sometimes but to know a group of women who both support and add to your vision is truly a blessing.

Find your crew, learn, perfect your craft, and most importantly make it avail for the world. You don’t have to be a model to become art.
