The Daniel Fast is a great way to start the year. Cleansing the gut first with an elimination detox of mostly citrus and on to a full 21 days of pulse. This allows your mind, body and spirit to reset and prepare yourself for a year led by the Lord. My first meal is an organic tofu veggie scramble with vegan spinach tortillas.

Freeze grapefruit rinds and use anytime in carbonated water and the essence is fresh. Now to juice them for Sunday Brunch.

Signing off of social media as I finish my 4 day elimination detox of only fruits and veggies and moving into the balance of my Daniel fast for my physical, spiritual and mental restoration. See y’all in February

What do you do when you graze persimmons from a local farmers home? Why you bake persimmons bread till the cows come home 😂😅 Beards YouTube recipe link in comments.

Pumpkins growing, figs are super sweet, watercress has a spicy finish, praying mantis all around us and our other fig tree that died in the frost has resurrected. Looks like we can grow in Arizona too.

Grow your own food and make your favorites. Making pickles out of my second cucumber harvest . So crunchy and brined just like I like them.

Probiotics are necessary for a healthy gut. When they are made to your taste buds you will eat them daily. Spicy pickles and ginger cabbage are some of my favorite flavors. Made with local farm produce. Stay tuned for upcoming fermenting classes.

Sometimes you just have to fire up the grill and sauté seasonal veggies, tofu and fold into rice with a dash of Asian seasonings and toasted sesame seeds.

When a friend offers you a huge bag of apples from her tree then you make Apple Butter and can them. These apples will cook down overnight with coconut sugar, fresh nutmeg, cinnamon, pink Himalayan salt, and cloves. Stay tuned fir canning process.

About last night... Love it when a restaurant does not have a pre-fix menu. The farm to table menu was so scrumptious and the hand crafted cocktails were shaken to perfection. Dj was spinning some bumpin music to add to our delightful evening. Happy New Years with love from Nashville Y’All🎉 @ Pemrose
