Jude is looking for his 2nd chance!

Jude is a very cute and handsome 7 year old neutered male Brittany. He was an owner surrender after having been tethered to a tree for an extended period of time and has a permanent scar around his neck to prove it. It took nearly nine months to be able to safely pet him and another
four months for him to be adoptable.

Jude would do best in a home with Brittany experienced adopters with no children.

For Jude’s well being, it would be best if his potential adopters met him before adoption. A visit can be scheduled to see him and experience his mannerisms. He is a wonderful dog who’s earned a second chance at life.

Meet Remy a sweet 4 year old Orange & White spayed female currently in a great foster home in Northwest Georgia who is dreaming of a Home of her very Own!
Remy is a beautiful and playful girl whose smile can brighten even the darkest of day. She is also a trickster with a great sense of humor who loves to play games with her foster, go for adventurous car ride or simply relax while chewing a bone or being petted. Remy loves to be the center of attention and certainly prefer people over other animals, especially other dogs. So, Remy is looking for a new home where she will be the ONLY dog in the home. Remy’s new home will also need to have a physically fenced yard to help keep her safe. Remy walks well on a loose leash but will need continued training as her foster says” some days are better than others,” due in part to her wanting to smell everything, as well as, Remy does have a strong prey drive and loves to chase critters including pesky flying things like flies.

Foster to Adopt or Adoptive home Wanted!
Victor is a super sweet 7 month old l/w male currently being fostered in Michigan. Victor has hip dysplasia & will need surgery when he gets older, but Right now, nothing slows this boy down! He easily jumps up in the bed and gets along just great with other dogs but has not been cat tested.
Victor loves to be in your lap & gives lots of kisses too. He’d be great for someone looking for a service or emotional support dog. If you are looking for a young dog that you can help make a difference in their life, he may be the boy for you. He does need a physical fenced in yard, another playful companion would be wonderful. He gets along great with children and all adults.
Victor is mostly housetrained, he does sometimes have an accident in the house. He is d crate trained although it's not his favorite place to be. He loves to go for walks and in the backyard he hunts butterfly's and in the evening lightening bugs. Meet Duke!

Duke is a handsome boy who was sadly surrendered by his previous owner. A few years ago, Duke had an eye infection that required the removal of his left eye, leaving him partially blind. Because of this, he won’t be placed in a home with young children or very active dogs that might startle him.

Duke is laid-back and easygoing. While he doesn’t mind other dogs, he’s equally content on his own. He’s housebroken, can use a doggy door, and is currently in ongoing training.

This charming boy will need a physical fence to keep him from wandering into neighboring yards. Duke would thrive in a home where his family is committed to continuing his training and providing consistent reinforcement. He might be happiest as the only dog, where he can enjoy undivided attention, but he could also do well with a similarly sized canine companion.

Duke is up to date on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped. He weighs 50 pounds—not overweight, just a solid boy. Duke can be transported up to 1,400 miles via the Canine Railroad, with the new family driving the last leg.

We have some wonderful news! An anonymous donor has generously offered to cover Eddie's adoption fee! (Please Read!)

Meet Eddie
Eddie is a fantastic cattle dog mix who's been at Valley Humane Society for about two years. He's a sweet and loyal boy who just needs a little extra love and understanding. Eddie was surrendered by his previous owner due to his separation anxiety, which at times caused him to become destructive. However, he does come with his own metal crate, which the shelter will provide when he's adopted. While Eddie's time with us has helped him grow, the full extent of his separation anxiety is still unknown. We want to ensure his new family is aware and ready to support him. Eddie also needs to have a chicken free diet, as the shelter found out recently he has a chicken allergy.

On the bright side, Eddie has many wonderful qualities! He walks well on a leash, gets along with other girl dogs, listens attentively, and sits on command. Eddie is a happy, well-rounded dog with a calm yet playful demeanor. He loves going for long hikes, spending time outdoors, or even joining you on a bike ride. But he's also perfectly content to cuddle up on the couch for some quality belly rubs. Eddie is a good pup who's just waiting for his forever home!
