A friend of mine made a blanket trunk for his nieces upcoming wedding and asked me to do some laser engraving on it. Glad I’ve got the laser up and running again.
I haven’t been able to make that many boards lately, but it was fun to take this one on.
So I recently had the privilege of making and delivering a cutting board style laser engraved sign for my godmother’s(whom has recently passed) family for their reunion. I also presented them with a wooden flag that I made.
Thank you Jim, Janet, and Kelly for allowing me to do this for your family and crashing your party. Mom and I had a great time!
Going to Ann Arbor to deliver these today. The Michigan board is made with cherry, maple, and walnut. The other board also has cherry, maple, and walnut…but there is also some red zebrawood in it.
Some smoked pork loin on one of my very first boards that I made. The board is made of Mexican Ebony.
Looks like Arthur really likes his cutting board that his mom commissioned us to make. It was originally to be a birthday present, but she couldn’t wait that long, so she decided to make it an Easter present. Arthur is a bass guitarist in a south Florida band.
This is one of our favorite boards to come out of the MCCB shop.
Thank you Laurie Rouse for letting us play a part in this experience.
Two of todays projects on the laser engraver. I’ve really enjoyed learning more and more about this tool. It’s going to really allow me to get quite creative.
These are going to be available real soon, so contact us now so they can become yours.
While we did not make the board, we did do the engraving. Boards like this will be fun to add our special touch to. This is a laser engraved bamboo cutting board.
We got a new toy at MCCB today! Soon we’ll be offering laser engraved products.
