Also if you have a valve cover gasket leak and oil leaks on the alternator eventually the brushes will get soaked and will unable to send power as well. They need to be dry. They are made of carbon. The average lifespan of carbon brushes for most alternators is 8-12 years.

A before and after bleeding brakes on a 2012 Toyota Venza XLE 3.5l with the 2GR-FE engine. Brake fluid is hydrophilic meaning it LOVES moisture. There cannot be moisture in the brake lines EVER. This is how you get spongy brakes. The cloudy look in the fluid means there was moisture. This negligence caused total brake loss at random times which was extremely dangerous. After cleaning out each and every line with new fluid. The brake power loss stopped and the vehicle is safe to drive once again. I recommended a brake master cylinder Replacement as well

2003 Honda Odyssey 3.5l with the ole reliable j35a1 engine. Replacing ignition coils spark plugs intake manifold gaskets cleaning the intake manifold with a pressure washer and plenum gasket. She's been sitting for awhile. She needed a good pair of hands to bring her back to life

Last thing you wanna see after diagnosing a crank no start issue. After confirming fuel and spark I checked for compression. None. I checked the timing belt cover and boom broken timing belt and since this Hyundai 2.7 V6 engine is an interference engine meaning the pistons will slap the valves hard if the timing breaks instead of everything coming to a halt the engine keeps on going until there is no more compression and shuts off. Even if you slap a new belt it is likely the valves are bent and will no fully seal during the compression stroke and possibly not start or run rough and barely run if you're lucky so it needs a new engine. 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 6.4 HEMI General Inspection upon inspection this is what I found

-Needs front shocks
-Needs all brake pads rotors are within spec
-Needs 16 Spark Plugs
-Coolant Needs top off
-Master Cylinder reservoir cap is missing
-Needs Valve Cover gaskets they are leaking
-Needs Serpentine Belt. Starting to have microcracks
-Needs lower bumper grille
-Brake fluid flush
-Needs fog lamps
-Needs front Fender liners
- needs fog lights
-needs windshield wiper fluid
-oil leak from oil filter housing unit area
-possible leak from rack n pinion
-Needs all shocks. Leaking hydraulic oil
-Needs hood latch
-plus some codes that were discovered. Mainly electrical issues. Car was involved in a front end collision and the body work was done improperly and while removing the bumper little to no plugs were connected back in their original spot so the BCM is going crazy.

Are you a DIY type of guy/gal? Need cheap power tools for emergency purposes or a couple of uses? I found a brand cheaper than Walmarts Hyper Tough. Its in Harbor freight its called WARRIOR they sell angle grinders for 15 bucks and many other things.

Keep this is mind followers. Most shops charge 40-60% on parts. Whereas i charge anywhere from 0-20% on upcharge depending if you are a repeat customer. If you hire me more than 3x you're probably paying commercial prices for your parts. Congrats.

Friendly reminder for everyone: temperature is dropping so tires will be losing pressure.remember to periodically check your tire pressure. If you dont know the correct psi for your vehicle look at your driver door jamb every car has a tire pressure chart for your fronts backs and spare. Most passenger vehicles require 32-35 psi. Pick up trucks and full size suvs may be higher than that. Under inflated tires may cause excessive wear on the outside tread of your tires.
