Custom home design & remodels in The Woodlands, TX

Photos from Pine Wood Homes's post 11/07/2023

I think it’s time to share these stunning before and after photos of our final renovation for the year. Still shocked about how bright and open it is after removing a few columns and opening up the stairs. This was a complete remodel of the floors, stairs and main living space. The rich stained cabinet perfectly compliments the quartzite countertops, Zellige tile backsplash & brass finishes. .

This is a bitter sweet moment as it’ll be the last remodel for a few months while I raise our beautiful newborn son. I love designing and remodeling homes but it’s time to focus on our family for a little while. 💕

Words cannot describe how proud I am of our team that built this kitchen. The finishes are beyond stunning and I’m so excited to share the photos from that we took the other day. Absolutely breath taking in every way. But I am most thankful for my homeowner who put their trust in us to bring their dream kitchen to life. None of this would have been possible if it weren’t for all my lovely homeowners.

Slowing down a little for the next few months as we are welcoming our little rainbow baby boy this November! It’s been a long difficult road for us and we appreciate our customers patience and understanding. Thank you to Chris for taking a cute picture on our baby moon! Now time to take photos of the last two homes & finish work on our house…

Ending the year with a bang! We finished this stunning bathroom remodel before the holidays but wanted to show all the lovely views it has. We kept it elegant and timeless with cream cabinets but added some flare with vertical subway tiles. I still cannot believe the before and after photos of this place. Yes, that is a “tub” or soaking area in the original shower! It was a wild ride and so much fun to give our home owner a calm retreat before the holidays.

Enjoying memories of this STUNNING kitchen we finished last year and finally got to stage recently. We were waiting on the Thermador appliances to show up and it was worth the wait. Not only did we open the enclosed shelving, we recreated the pantry with a hidden microwave, customized the stainless steel hood vent & added a massive wine fridge with its own built in. I have been waiting months to share this project with you.

And that’s a wrap! Absolutely love this bright yet calming kitchen we completed for our lovely home owners. This was almost a complete gut job as we had to replace about half the kitchen cabinets. The polished nickel bridge faucet with the oversized apron sink are stunning and one of my favorites.

Sometimes all a kitchen needs is a little bit of love. This was a paint and staging project that brought some life back into their home. All the original paint was chipping off and there were some serious holes next to the sink. After our paint crew finished it turned into brand new kitchen! Mixing some original pieces with some new ones really brought this kitchen back to life.

Obsessing over our favorite fire clay sink! Thanks Bocchi for sharing our work.

I love every project that we work on but this one is a little special to me. This bathroom was sadly hit by the Feb 2021 freeze but gave our home owner the opportunity to get the bathroom of their dreams. Everyone else told them to stay away from brick paver floors but we came in cheering for them. This proves to listen to your gut and push for what makes you happy. Every time I walk into this bathroom I never want to leave, every direction is beautiful. I am so honored to work on this space and bring it to life. Between the white oak cabinets, brick paver herringbone floor, handmade Moroccan Zellige tile or the long awaited mirrors, it truly brings joy to anyone to sets foot in there. It’s a must to check out the 2 demoed photos when I first walked in and the original photo from when the home was bought years ago. This place has come a long way.

Happy Friday everyone! It has been one crazy week here at Pine Wood Homes and we finally get to share this stunning two toned kitchen we finished during the summer. We are over the moon in love with these soapstone countertops, deep green cabinets and Champaign bronze accents. Pretty sure we looked at every color countertop but fell in love with this moody soapstone. This being a smaller kitchen allowed for a more bold yet soothing look to match their style. Covering the backsplash from floor (behind the stove top) to the ceiling really brought a custom feel to the space. Now it’s time to kick back and enjoy this beauty. We hope you all have a wonderful and safe Labor Day holiday this weekend!

Our personal laundry room is finally complete! This is a longer post than normal but a good read if you ever want to do any updates to your home. Not everything went according to plan when it came to colors but I’m obsessed with the outcome. Every project is different and comes with different challenges. Nothing ever sticks to a the schedule, stays within the original plan or doesn’t require touch up’s after we all think it’s complete. I touched up the walls Friday, Saturday and again today because there are always spots I miss from the day before. If you followed along with me this weekend then you got to see first hand my lack of excitement with the original paint & stain options. Even though it cost me an entire say, we are so pleased with the final result. We had to sand down the floating shelves twice because we didn’t like the original stain options. It was a late night but it was worth it in the end. Remodeling is an art and no artist will ever consider a piece truly complete but you have to stop somewhere. I am so grateful for our followers and clients enjoying our work but it was nice to be the designer, manager and client all at once. We haven’t done a home project in a while and I might have just opened a can of worms with other spaces in our home. Let’s see what else we can update in our home this year.

- Cabinet color: Magnolia bespoke green
- Wall color: Sherwin Williams pure white
- Shelf material: white oak
- Shelf stain: Varathane antique white wash

Love our latest laundry project!

Thoroughly enjoying this adorable open locker & sink in our latest laundry room. Adding this elegant built-in really allowed our home owner to keep her kid’s bags and shoes separate from each other & off the floor. This Beach Glass color brings the perfect muted color to this space and we love it! Adding brass bag hooks and cabinet k***s really brought the space together.

Last week we finished a record timing condo flip in just 8 days! Our lovely closed on this condo and immediately demoed everything to prepare for our installation the next day. We brought our followers along for the ride but there was so much more going on behind the scenes. and her mom are absolutely amazing women and a joy to be around. They kept a positive vibe through this stressful process, painted the entire space & organized all the new furniture for their first Air BnB guests that showed up the following days. We can sadly only take credit for countertops, backsplash & sink but we loved every minute. There is so much color and fun at every turn in this condo that it’s a must see. For anyone who wants to see our combined work up close, go check out to book a visit this summer. It’s right on the lake and close to all the local hot spots.

Let’s dream of an airy blue laundry room on this Friday afternoon. Mixing metals along with warm and cool tones are so much fun and bring life to every space. This laundry room was a forgotten space where socks went missing but now everyone in this family can enjoy the newly organized space. Hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Spa or a Jack & Jill bathroom? Why not both!? This red & green wallpapered bathroom a much needed face lift and it feels so relaxing now! Adding a countertop cabinet helped split the space so each kid can have a more designated space. May we also talk about this vertical stacked tile?! I’m obsessed with the clean lines & brightness of this bathroom. The before photos are so gloomy compared to the space now.

Renovations are never easy and they almost always change course during the timeline. We are always here to hold your hand through the process and answer any questions you may have. There has yet to be a problem that we could not find an amazing solution for and we never leave our home owners out in the cold. We live for completed projects like this stunning herringbone shower and exposed rain shower. Our job sites are almost always occupied homes and we treat them that way. The sites are left clean, respect working hours and give our home owners days off to relax during a busy time. Everyone always says they will remodel their home “later” but why wait? Do it now & let us guide you. Let this be your bathroom at the end of a stressful day. Happy Monday everyone.

Today is a good day to relax in this stunning Mexican Hacienda guest bathroom. This is one of 3 beautiful blue bathrooms in this home and let’s just say it might be my favorite. The herringbone denim tile blew me away but the Signature Hardware exposed shower faucet trim is the icing on the cake. Most rain shower heads feel like a light rain but this one is more like a big Texas sized storm. One of the worst bathrooms in the home is now a piece of art for all who visit our clients. We cannot believe the transformation this and the other two bathrooms have gone through over the past month.
- Tile: Castle Denim 3x12 ceramic tile
- Shower faucet: Stiles exposed piping & Lambert rain shower head
- Countertop: Quartzite Savoie w/ mitered edge

Take a look at these Calcatta quartz countertops! The veins are so elegant and classic. We always encourage a mitered edge to give the appearance of a thicker slab without paying for it. Our installers spend countless hours making sure the veins waterfall over the edge for a flawless finish. These give the perfect setting for the organically textured backsplash. Everything in this kitchen is so soothing and comforting now. Goodbye 70’s pink, hello timeless Calcatta kitchen.

Happy Mother’s Day to all work lovely ladies out there. There are so many forms of motherhood and they can all be celebrated today. What is a better gift than a kitchen makeover? It’s quick, painless and has a major impact on one of the most used rooms in the home. Start to finish they generally take leas than a week!

The home owners didn’t know where to begin but they wanted the pink countertops gone as soon as possible. We used calcatta tree quartz countertops with 1 3/4” mitered edges and multi colored subway tiles with an organic vibe. It is so peaceful in here and a perfect canvas for every color under the rainbow. The materials are durable and perfect for the little artists. I also had a little fun using their lovely yellow drinking glasses for a “lived in” staging.

These home owners were sadly one of the thousands that had a pipe burst during the February freeze this year. We were able to take a terrible situation and flip it around with this stunning kitchen update. Adding two toned cabinets, new quartz countertops, organic backsplash & an updated faucet really brightens up the space. This was a beautiful silver lining to the big freeze for our home owners. Now they get to wake up to this beauty everyday.

Photos from Pine Wood Homes's post 04/12/2021

Our clients bought this super cute home last year but the kitchen wasn’t to their taste. All it needed was our kitchen facelift with new countertops, backsplash, lighting, plumbing & hardware. These facelifts generally take about a week as no demo starts without having all the material available. Our goal is to walkways get in and out of a home as quickly as possible while giving the best quality remodel.

Take a look at the Kraus champaign faucet fixtures and honey bronze cabinet hardware. I’m not sure this place could be more soothing. We added a few decor items to bring some charm back into the space. I think the best compliment was when the home owner was looking at some kitchen photos and didn’t recognize it was her old kitchen! Out with the grey and in with the white & gold.

Talk about a master bathroom flip! Just finished this gorgeous bathroom upgrade in just 3 weeks. Everywhere you look there is something stunning to admire. Between this drop dead gorgeous chandelier to the delicate cabinet hardware, I can’t decide what’s my favorite. Not to mention the heated floors. Yes, I said heated floors. Our home owner can set it up to have their toes nice and warm all year long.

Now this has some serious laundry room ! Finished a quick 7-day project this week and had a blast doing it. Our client was so tired of the poor space management and needed more space to hang clothes to dry. Check out the video in the end to see the pull out drying rack on the floating shelf & the pull down hanger in action. I was so honored when our client let me choose the cabinet color and hardware. She even got to say “you’re right,” which made my day and hers when she fell in love with doing laundry again.

This jack & jill bathroom flip allowed for a little fun for us and our client. We wanted something bright but wanted to explore mixed metals with a fun subway tile. I’ll be obsessing over these clean lines for a while. It’s so much fun to flip builder grade homes bed allow our clients personality to shine through.

Come with us through this stunning master gut job! We went with a bright and moody color palate so earthy tones were needed to make this space feel like home. Every major project we give a little gift that fits well with the space. In this project we gifted the vanity tray and it is perfect for this bathroom. Even though they saw the progress, they were so excited to see the final staged product and loved it all.

Words cannot express the joy that came from bringing this bright & moody bathroom to life. We brought you along daily through our stories and now you get to see the final result! Our clients fell in love with our cabinet color so we used the same Urbane Bronze and everyone was amazed with how lovely it came out. Check out our story highlights to see our daily updates from this renovation. Stay tuned for our next project starting tomorrow!

Finalizing paint this weekend! The master bath cabinets will be but we need to pick out a complimentary wall color for the Evian C quartz and chrome hardware. The Jack & Jill bath upstairs will have a warmer grey or muted vanilla cabinet and white walls as well. We are also putting mixed metals in there for some added character. Just about a week left and it’ll be done! Keep an eye out for our stories as we are documenting this entire process as thoroughly as we can.
