Had a good time at Lil Cochran R/C Speedway & Hobbies. LLC for the annual Speedweeks/ J Concept Nationals. It was good to get back to racing! Congratulations to everyone on the podium it was some hard fought racing in all classes!
As for us I had a good sprint car Friday night qualifying p5 in the A main and finishing p7. The latemodel was a struggle as usual 😂🤣😂🤣 however we went in the right direction this weekend and learned some things finished p6 in the b main on Friday and p2 in the c main…… (I thought I had the the bump till the body flew off 😂🤣). The Sprint on Saturday I started and did not finish in the b main, made a setup and change and immediately pulled it due to traction rolling.
As for Kailie she ran strong all weekend qualifying p7 on Friday night in the A main she ran into some electrical issues and we had to pull the car. On Saturday she qualified p3 finishing p6 in a tough field of cars.
We enjoyed seeing everyone and meeting some new faces. Also enjoyed the competitive racing from some of the best in the country! Thanks to Matt "The MurfDogg" Murphy for calling an excellent race and getting the whole track to sing happy birthday to Kailie , none of us expected it! 😂 Thanks David Thomson for providing a great place to race and a great event! Time to get back in the lab and get better! Until the next one! ✌️

The dust has settled we are back in Georgia after a great weekend at Ron Jon raceway for the St Jude’s benefit race!
First off it was great hanging with friends and family this weekend we honestly had one of our best times racing this weekend and didn’t even podium 🤣.
The racing was competitive and clean even in the lower mains. As for how we ended up Kailie had a fast Sct Latemodel and ended up qualifying 4th in a field 28. She ran great all weekend just got a little behind in the beginning of the a main and couldn’t make it back up, ended up settling for 6th in a race full of stiff competition.
As for me I ran super latemodel and mod sprint. Ended up racing motors that were definitely not big enough but managed to still stay competitive in both classes.in mod sprint I started in the bmain and had an awesome race top 4 guys finished the race seconds off each other with only 2 getting to bump made for a fun race. Ended up in 3 rd in the b main. As for super latemodel struggled my first 2 qualifiers but managed to get a decent 3rd qualifier to get me to the b main where I took 1st and bumped to the a main. In the a main I took 6th in another very clean with some great driving all around.
Congratulations to everyone that podiumed and that attended and supported this cause which raised over $5000.

Well the 2nd annual Turkey Run at Lil Cochran R/C Speedway & Hobbies. LLC is in the books!
First off we thank god for be able to race! As for the show both days were great! Matt "The MurfDogg" Murphy did a great job on the 🎙️ and kept the show moving along at what we think was a great pace. And David Thomson and crew kept the track hooked up up! If you missed the action don’t worry for Webb Rc Videos was there to capture it all!
As for the racing Kailie had a strong weekend coming in at 5th out of 26 cars. She had fun and really wanted it this weekend but just fell short her A main was stacked with competition all around.
As for me I had a decent sprint car but just didn’t drive the way I needed to in the b main to bump I got in trouble early on and just finished 3rd in the bmain.
As for super latemodel that car was never the same when it hit the track but gonna jump back in the lab and get it reigned in. Ended up 4th in the C Main.
All in all it was a great weekend hanging with friends and family even though we didn’t get the finishes we were looking for. Shout out to everyone in the pit area Kyle Newhouse JGR 157x RC Patrick Loveless Shawn McClure Tony Cheatham Shawn Morrow Cliff Scales we definitely had some laughs!
