Let me tell you something.. confidence does it come from the way your clothes fit or the number on the scale. It’s how you feel inside.
When we start to work on ourselves we slowly start to change the conversations we are having in our head. You know exactly what I’m talking about…..
You aren’t skinny enough for that photo shoot…
You aren’t good enough to apply for that job…
You can’t go to that social event because your scared of who you might bump into…
You have no business in the gym because you don’t know what you’re doing…
I can’t join that challenge because i don’t know if I’ll follow through…
LISTEN TO ME ALL THOSE THOUGHTS ARE FALSE!!
You can do ANYTHING you set out to do but it has to start out has positive thoughts in your head. Don’t look at the whole journey. Let’s talk about TODAY.
How can you transform your mental health today. What are some small things you can do for yourself?
Carlee had one of my favorite physical and mental transformation I’ve ever seen. She NEVER gave up. We worked more on her mentality than her gym routine and her body transformation still came out shining! She was patient, she knew it would take time for a 180 turn around. She killed it.
Busiest girl i know and she still took time for her morning routine! She became so in tune with her body she started to notice what diet fit her the best and rolled with it.

Loose skin and stretch marks!
I had no stretch marks until like 3 weeks before i had my daughter🙄
All of sudden i was a new mom and my body looked torn apart literally lol. 😬

4️⃣ Months after i had my daughter i had fresh stretch marks and like 4 small incisions. I looked in the mirror and fell apart. 😣
❌I had no self esteem left ❌
Yes i was so happy i had my daughter and although i was scared to be a new mom i was excited. Along with all the excitement, and nervousness, came insecurity. I didn’t know if I’d ever wear a swim suit again. 👙
Because of those feelings taking over me i let myself gain 40 pounds.
At this point i told myself enough is enough.....
❌I didn’t want to be this girl...
❌I didn’t want to be the mom who let herself go...
❌I didn’t want to be the mom who lost herself...
✅I TOOK CHARGE.
✅I DID SOMETHING.
✅This was my solution 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
At the time i didn’t have too much lose skin so i attacked the first issue. The weight gain😓I started studying macros and calories. I found out i was only eating 50 grams of protein a day 🙀
I was supposed to be eating 125-140G of protein❗️❗️❗️
You guy protein is the hottest burning fuel for our body. 🔥We actually burn more calories digesting it than any other macro.
🤓I learned this and starting upping my protein intake!
Once i lost the weight i had lose skin and and stretch marks staring back at me.
After i lost the 40lbs i had so much confidence i didn’t care about the stretch marks 🙅🏼♀️
they eventually faded❗️❗️❗️
As far as the lose skin goes? I scheduled a consultation to get it removed in 2023.
I been working so hard the past five years in my opinion i deserve it 🙌🏻
❌You can’t fix everything by yourself.
❌You can’t completely get rid of your stretch marks BUT.
✅Time fades them. I would rather work on the things i can control in that time..
⏰time is going to pass either way Are you going to let more time pass not working on your goals you’ve had the past couple years?

Should you train if you’re sick?
Depends on a few things!
Are you contagious?
How’s your energy level?
I’m currently the sickest i have been in a while! I am for sure contagious and with covid going around i will not be training for at least another week!
In the past i would freak out if i couldn’t train. I would work out even if i was sick.
When you’re sick your body spends a lot of it’s energy fighting off whatever it is you have. That’s why it’s important to rest. You don’t want your body spending it’s energy repairing your muscle tissue when it’s trying to heal other areas that’s why when you do too much while your sick you feel way worse.
If it’s your time of the month you might even want to take a couple days off! If i can’t give my training 100% I’ll take the day off. You have to just use your intuition. Are you being lazy or are you really needing a day off?
Don’t worry you won’t lose your gains! You will continue to progress, you just might need a couple days off! The important part is to rest, hydrate and still get your nutrition in!
I thought i would go ahead and share my FAVORITE recipe with you all.
‼️Protein French toast‼️
here's how it goes:
you'll need a serving of egg whites for every slice you make. i usually use this as a pre-workout meal so i make myself 3 slices.
🔅3 servings of egg whites (138 G)
🔅1/2 Tsp. of Cinnamon
🔅3 Splenda packets
🔅dash of nutmeg (optional)
🔅splash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
(or sometimes i do 2 T of sugar free vanilla coffee creamer)
whisk that all together dip the bread in the egg mixture and cook how you normally do!
I use Maple Groves sugar free Syrup on top!
good bread options are: Keto Bread (franz 40 cal per slice)

Looking at the girl on the left is PAINFUL. Not because of how i looked, but because of how i FELT. I’d always been athletic through high school. I played softball, basketball and was even on the swim team for a bit lol i loved hiking, camping, and anything active! All of a sudden i didn’t like those things. They weren’t fun because those things became HARD 😭
I gained weight AFTER having my daughter. When she was about 5 months old I decided to return to work! I worked part time delivering pizzas at domino’s Man did i gain some weight (i loved pizza and it loved me right back. 😂) This picture on the left isn’t even my heaviest! My everyday habits was my problem. My lifestyle reflected the girl on the left. I didn’t have energy, i super stressed and i never made time for myself (obviously i was a new mom)
One day, (this sounds cheesy but it’s true) out loud in the mirror i said “Kinzi, knock your s**t off, start taking care of yourself. The first step of that self-care was making a goal to lose 30 pounds. My heaviest weight was around 190 (I’m 5’1-5’2ish.) The only thing I knew how to do is step foot in a gym. Even though I was embarrassed and intimidated, I started my journey! It scared me to have people I went to high school see me 40 pounds heavier. I overcame that I got myself there 3 to 4 times a week and I worked really hard. I lost about 20 pounds doing that and when I came to a plateau, I I knew I had to do something different. That’s when I found out about macros. I tweaked my macros until I found what works for me and I continued on to Hit my goals and then some. At the end of my long journey I weighed 135.
Even though I started out as an intimidated, overweight with no knowledge within the gym I achieved my goal. It only made me hungry for more.
I am so glad that at the height of my pain I decided to do something about it instead of rolling over and giving up because trust me I wanted to. When I say “if I can do it, you can do it.” BELIEVE IT. I was a new mom, i had no education, no real career, and low self-esteem. One day at a time, and a couple of really good coaches along the way I am who I am now someone I’m proud of! 🏋🏼♀️

Hey everyone! Just a simple reminder! Calories in calories out. Sadly there is no magic pill, shake or coffee that allows you to automatically lose 15-30 pounds. The only claim they may have is it blunts appetite, you still have the choice and craving to overeat. So before you spend money on a product remember it’s been scientifically proven time and time again. Calorie deficit is how you lose weight ❤️
