There is an old joke among New Yorkers, that when a tourist stops and asks “How do you get to Carnegie Hall?” the response is “Lots and lots of practice”. 😂

This is true of any professional performance and our singers have devoted dozens and dozens of hours to practice and perfect our rendition of this sacred oratorio. We would never have been able to do that without the generous support and talent of our rehearsal pianist: Amanda Briggs!

As Easter draws near, we are now just two short weeks away from opening night for Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God. It’s been such a privilege rehearsing this beautiful work and I am so grateful for all of the numerous hours that Tooele Counties finest singers and musicians have devoted to making this production a success. Meet our Costume and Stage Director!

Katie Hyatt loves theatre, music, her two children, husband, and most of all her God. Katie has a Bachelor's Degree from BYU in Theatre Studies with a dual emphasis in Costuming and Dramaturgy. She has been designing and sewing costumes, wedding dresses, and custom projects for 10+ years.

She is loving the chance to testify of the Savior of the World by to contributing to Tooele Lamb of God. "A loving shout out to my husband, family, and friends whose support have made my participation at this stage of life possible!"

Meet our Marketing Director!

Ryan Foster, has worked with large and small clients both over the last 20 years such as American Airlines, OC Tanner, Black Diamond, AOL, and many others crafting websites, branding, marketing, content management and technology solutions integrations. He currently leads Solutions Architecture at AGCO, the agricultural corporation.

Ryan studied voice with June Bonner of the Metropolitan Opera and had dreams of becoming a Broadway performer one day. Although life and career took a different direction, he credits a youth spent in musical theatre, band and show choirs with equipping him with confidence, and the communication and creative skills to excel in consulting, branding, design and technology that has driven his professional career. Music has remained a lifelong passion and he looks for every opportunity he can to continue singing. Ryan feels very privileged to play the role of Pontius Pilot for the 2024 season and looks forward to spreading the message of Christ’s sacrifice for us each Easter season with the Lamb of God for many years to come.

Meet our Orchestra Director!

Natalie Ashby is an experienced Music Educator. She has studied the violin/ viola for 30 years. Natalie studied music at Idaho State University and the University of Utah earning her degree from the University of Utah in Music Education. She has studied violin, conducting and Orchestral studies with Dr. Chung Park while earning her degree and after for several years.

Over the past 12 years she has taught students ranging from Kindergarten to High School Orchestra, Band, Chorus and General Music. Under her direction groups have grown in numbers and ability. These groups have earned top ratings in district and state festivals in Utah and Florida. She currently works with children at Willow and Grantsville Elementary.

She also was President, Orchestra Director, and Concert Mistress for the Messiah Production. She plays Violin and is a co-direct of the Tooele Valley Symphony. Natalie also organized and directed the Orchestra for the Lamb of God production that will perform in April 2024. She has played her violin in several different groups including the Magic Valley Symphony, Northwest Florida State Symphony, Tooele Valley Symphony, Lamb of God Production and Tooele County production of Handel’s Messiah where she served as Concert Mistress.

Natalie is an active adjudicator and clinician for Orchestra’s in Utah and Florida. Natalie resides in Erda, Utah with her 4 children and loving husband. She enjoys playing music, camping, going to Disney, gardening and being with her family. Her favorite sound is a student practicing.

Meet our Artistic Director!

Barbara Bean Wallace, Music Director, is married to Steve Wallace, has 7 wonderful children and 11 fabulous grandchildren, and earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Music Education degrees at BYU and Boise State.

She taught choir, orchestra and guitar for 20 years (high school and junior high) in Utah and Idaho and has taught private voice for 40 years.

She has performed as a recitalist and as a soloist with numerous choirs, founded two community choirs, including Tooele Valley Singers, and feels very privileged and blessed to perform with the wonderful musicians of Tooele Lamb of God.

MEET OUR PRODUCER: STEPHANIE FINCH

Stephanie is the happy Mother of 6, with twin toddlers at her side all day long. She is married to her soulmate, Jason and loves singing with him. She believes our gifts and talents are for building up the Kingdom of God.

She founded and directs "Witness" a group of 4 Mothers, an inspirational performing group for Womens firesides. She also founded "Diamond Dance Company" a dancing and singing performing group for Women.. They are still performing after 20 years!

She is a Yoga and Nutrition enthusiast, and loves making tasty healthy recipes. After several promptings to bring Lamb of God to Tooele, with the help of many others, this dream has come true. This music leaves one never the same and is beyond beautiful.
She studies the Second Coming regularly and desires to help prepare others for His Return.
