Peggy's Quilting

The second pair of Kathy's quilts feature birds & dinosaurs! Dianne used the Trillium Leaf design in olive green thread.

Dianne has been very busy finishing the 16 kid quilts sent in by Kathy S. of Connecticut! Kathy donates these quilts to a children's hospital. We really commend her generosity!! The first two are done in Batiks and Dianne used the Hugo design in a blue-grey thread.

We have a lot to share this evening! This blue & gold beauty is the final quilt from Donna R. in Iowa. I love the pattern! We used the Three Leaf Clover design in white thread. Stay tuned for the 16 kid quilts Dianne just brought back!

You can almost smell the roses in Donna's next quilt! How sweet is this! Had to be a piecing nightmare. We used the Blooming Roses design in a pale butter yellow thread.

Donna's next one is an awesome Pineapple Quilt done in Batiks! We don't see enough of this gorgeous pattern! We used the Coquina design in blue thread.

We are back on Donna R's quilts from Iowa. Isn't this a cool, summer watermelon quilt! Colors, prints & kaleidoscope pattern are wonderful. A special added attraction is that the print on the backing is names of quilt shops in Iowa! We used the Ribbon Swirls design in green thread.

This beautiful black, red & white sampler is the final quilt from Joanne F. in California. I love the on-point placement! I believe some of these block patterns can be found in the files on our Peggy's Quilting Group page. We used the Swirling Feathers design in black thread.

You will probably all recognize the fabrics used in this bright one from Joanne F. in California. So gorgeous! We used the Surf design in black thread.

From the other side of the country, Joanne F. in California has sent in 3 wonderful quilts! The first is this cute star quilt in nice, bright colors! We used the Star Bright design in Dark Pink Thread.

Donna H. from New Jersey sent in this beauty with its great muted colors! Just looks like warmth & comfort! We used the Calico design in brown thread.

Isn't this one of the prettiest cross quilts ever!! It is from Teresa B. in North Carolina. What you can't see in the pic is that the white fabric in the very center is glittered! So striking! We used the Pixie Dust design (with the elongated stars) in light blue thread.

I've been browsing magazines again! I found this cute pattern in the latest issue of Fons & Porters Quick & Easy Quilts. I did embellish the border by making HST's out of the cut off corners from the blocks and putting them in the border and down the center back. I used 3 fabrics - front & back. The magazine used a solid red & white. Super easy pattern called "Flutterbye". I used the Emily design in a purple thread.

Donna's number 4 is a really cool 3-D block quilt! The colors are fabulous as is the pattern. And I really love the backing fabric. We used the Hugo design in white thread.

Number 3 from Donna is made with beautiful batiks! Love the colors in this one. So striking against the black. We used the Wild Swirls design in orange thread.

Donna R's second quilt is her Christmas In July Challenge quilt! The window treatment effect is so cool! We used the Snowflake design in a light blue thread.

Isn't this gorgeous fabric!! This is the first of several beauties sent in from our good friend, Donna R., from Iowa. Love the way she did both the back and front! We used the Elegance on a String design in olive green thread.

Mary Ann K. from New York sent in this lovely quilt. Such soft colors! It's a real cuddler! We used the Celtic Heart design in a pink thread.

Jean M. from Florida is back with this large cutie! So many birdies!! We used the Quack design in a light green thread.

We needed a fast turn around on this one from local quilter, Lori P. It is being donated to a raffle for the military! We used the Lots of Stars design in white thread.

Another beautiful blue & white quilt!! This one is from Jeanette D. of Georgia. Love the almost hidden hearts in this pattern! We used the Swirling Feathers design in a light blue thread.

Momma says you can't go wrong with blue and white and she is right again! This beauty is the third quilt from Dawn F. of Alaska. So pretty!! We used the Pimento design in white thread.

Number two for Dawn F. is a cute little crib quilt made of the softest flannels ever! It almost feels like a blend of flannel and microfiber. Would love to know where she got it! We used the moon & stars Sleepytime design in white thread.

Dawn F. from Alaska is back with 3 more lovely quilts! The first is a striped florals piece with the diamond strip accent. These fabrics are just gorgeous! We used the Berry Vine Park design in white thread.

Brenda P. from North Carolina is back with another beauty! The pattern is called Virginia Star. Dianne used the Starlets design in a light yellow thread.

Look at these Mod 1960's colors and prints! I love this one from Elaine R. of S. Dakota! And it has a soft black minky backing! Dianne used the Anne's Favorite design in a hot pink thread.

This cute Peter Rabbit quilt came from Jane H. of Texas! Such a sweet panel! Dianne used the Bunnies For Kids design in Ivory thread.

Dianne brought back 4 quilts she worked on this last week. The first is for Kate B. of Virginia. Such pretty colors. Looks like woven ribbons! Dianne used the Spit & Spat design in grey thread.

Welcome Ann L. from Missouri - a new customer to us! She sent in this sweet black, grey & white triangles quilt. We used the Blowing Blossoms design in a medium grey thread. Hopefully, we will see more beauties from Ann!

Jane P. from Colorado made this gorgeous bears quilt for their cabin in Alaska! Perfect!! This has some of the prettiest batik fabrics I've seen and blue & white is always a winner. We used the Roaming Bears design in a blue thread.

Isn't this amazing! Teresa B. said the pattern name is Stars Within and she is planning to enter it into a local quilt show! It should be a real crowd stopper! We used the Vanilla Cream design in a silver grey thread.
