Like many, I was searching for a creative outlet, dedicating my efforts to build someone else’s dream. I knew there had to be more to life, so I forged my own path. The question I often hear: Why I started Chaxel? It goes back to my childhood. I was always a creative kid, infatuated with fashion, and drawn to outfits that broke the mold. Early on, I idolized icons like Gwen Stefani, Betsy Johnson, Madonna – powerful women with their unique styles. When the pandemic hit, I found myself yearning for a creative outlet. My ‘Why’ is simple. I adore sharing my fashion knowledge and unique sense of style, teaching people to find confidence in their wardrobe by adding their personal flair. It’s all about those little touches: a belt, a scarf, a hat, jewelry, shoes, or a handbag – elements that make an outfit uniquely ‘you.’ And I love imparting this wisdom to everyone. Elevating someone’s style with my curated collections is a blast. People come in all shapes and sizes, like puzzle pieces, and you keep trying until you find the perfect fit. That fit means walking out the door with unwavering confidence in your chosen pieces. If you don’t feel 100% yourself, it’s time to switch things up. The essence of CHAXEL? “Your dress is neat and clean. Your clothing should be comfortable, soft, and flowing. Avoid plain and understated; embrace daring and exciting in your appearance.” CHAXEL, a fusion of ‘Chesca’ and ‘Axel,’ my two French Bulldogs. During the pandemic, the world felt black and white, and I wanted to infuse it with color, one wardrobe at a time.
