Space X Falcon 9 Rocket Launch at Vandenberg Space Force Base carrying 28 star link satellite to lower earth orbit. This rocket was so fast, it was very difficult to shot at 600mm plus low light. My camera was having difficulty grabbing focus, plus it was a cloudy dusk. I'll prepare better next launch and better location. It was taken from the roof of our house. It was amazing to watch in real life.
Tracked using MSM, Stacked 10 lights and 10 darks, and blended in photoshop. Color grading in lightroom.

We headed to Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains in California for 2 night 3 days of Landscape and Astrophotograhy photography adventure with my buddy Arto Dag this past weekend. We were not aware that there will Aurora Borealis during this time. I was just informed by my younger brother about the rare phenomenon at the same night.
We woke up at 2300 hours at our campground in June Lake, CA and saw the sky glowing red and there were dancing bright lights in the horizon. Since this area is Bortle 1, it was visible with our naked eye. We did not waste our time and captured the rare phenomenon immediately.
Both condition we perfect. Moon set at 2330, 20 percent humidity, no clouds, no light pollution. The Astro Gods were on our side.
Red Aurora Borealis was capture last Friday at 2300 (Peak).
Purple Aurora Borealis was captured last Saturday at 2200 (Peak).
Milky way Arch was captured Sunday at 0200 at Mono Lake in Lee Vining California after the Northern light show.
This was our experience from last weekend Astrophotography / Aurora Borealis adventures in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains.
We arrived at Mammoth Lakes at around 5pm Friday. While I'm waiting for my buddy Arto Dag to arrived, I chat with a random person in the parking lot and she gave tips on where to go and place must visit around the area. I believe she lives in her car full time and travel around the US. Very nice lady named Molly.
We first visited Hot creek Geological site then after a couple of photos we head back to our campground in June Lake, CA. There we met the Cline family. A family of 4, very humble neighbors and we chatted for hours. Neither that we know that both were scientists. As a good neighbor to a fellow good neighbor. I offered to take their family portrait and gave it to them for free.
2300 (11pm) we woke up and saw a reminder from my brother that there will be a possibility to view Aurora Borealis (Northern lights) in our location. The 1st 2 photos were the peak Solar Radiation Storm. This is literally in our campground the sky was lit in red and there were lights dancing similar to spot light that shines around the night sky. The intensity is constantly changing. I was able to set my cameras immediately and took hours and hours of Timelapse and few hundred photos. Then we moved to another location at 0200 (2am) and continue to capture the night sky until 0500 (5am). This time the sky was purple.
The following day (Saturday night) we secure a spot overlooking Mono Lake and the Aurora Borealis cameback as soon as the Sun sets. But, it only lasted for 1 hours from 9pm to 10pm. Again, my camera were able to capture this moments along with few photographers that we met. We continued to stay until 4am while everyone left then, that was the time we departed our ways.
This phenomenon is extremely rare at this magnitude, last one happened 20 years ago. This year 2024 to 2025 we are at solar maximum meaning the Sun is very active and there might be a couple more phenomenon similar to this.
We were able to capture both peak Aurora Borealis on both nights plus tons of Milkyway shots. So far, these are the best photos I've picked out of 700+ photos.
Thank you for your continued support. I'm glad to share this experience to everyone. This was not east at any means. We abused our body during this time. Sleeping only 3 hours per day moving the whole day similar to a military operation. Driving hours and hours, scouting for location and countless dry run and practice. Please continue to stay outside and always apply leave no trace principle or pack in and pack out. Enjoy! There will be more as I process my photos. So stay tuned.
I would like to thank my wife for her continued support to my adventurous hobby.
Northern lights (Aurora Borealis) is a phenomenon when our Sun ejects a strong solar wind towards our plant earth. Our plant in return protect us using countering the radiation using the Earth magnetic field. In the process the charge particles are being absorbed by the atmosphere causing dancing light particles in the sky called the Northern lights. This very rare phenomenon was witness by our naked eye while we are doing Astrophotography in June Lake, CA. It was not planned and totally co-insidence. Thanks to my younger brother on alerting me on that specific time. I was able to prepare in a very short amount of time. 11:30 PM when we started, and it was the peak solar storm activity. The sky was lit in red and the lights were dancing. It was extremely beautiful. This was captured on our campground in June Lake, CA where we were staying. The night sky in this location is Bortle 1 (darkest amongst the light pollution scale). So, we were able to witness Aurora Borealis in a very dark night sky. Last time this phenomenon happen in this magnitude was 20 years ago and almost never happen in Central California. The solar storm was to intense, it was visible up to Mexico per the local news.
We hit a Jackpot on this one. I shot over 400 photos of the peak Aurora Borealis using 3 cameras. We still ended up doing Astrophotography later in our adventure. More to come.

Another beautiful sunset.
Here are my kids now for all the folks that have been asking me. Dad has been slacking lately due to work duties but, tough times will be over soon and we will go again for some more adventures. They are the reason why I learn photography. Moments like these are also the reason why I’m still taking my blood pressure medicine 😂. I love my kids because they are part of me.
First time macro photography. These are my plants by the way and they are all given to me by my friends, family and co-workers. Spring is here!!!
When there is a perfect amount of clouds, the sky glows red at sunset. One of my favorite sunset to photograph.

Vitamin Sea. The best vitamin I’ve ever known. It heals sickness and metal exhaustion (a.k.a burnout). The best gift is to see your kids happy. This was the best sunset I’ve ever seen. I’m always chasing the best sunset. These are the actual colors as the sun dips down the horizon.
It’s the time of the year. Milkyway arch at Curry Village and Yosemite Fire fall.
It surely was a beautiful morning.
Early morning city scapes captured at Signal Hill, CA. Been itching for some adventure.
Always thankful for all your support. I hope you feel the same experience I had. My photos made it to the Nursing Office.
My photography style is always about making it look natural and vibrant. I wear transition glasses so my photos are always contrasty and colorful (similar to wearing sunglasses). I capture them as I see them in person. Other photographers use filters and presets to make their photos look nice but, for me I always want to remember the moment I was there. My mantra is always my photos will make you feel you were there. My intentions are to share the experience not the presets and filters (nothing wrong using them).
This is 11x17 printed in heavy duty Pro Luster paper (semi-gloss or half gloss half matte) using gallery quality ink that does not fade for up to 50 years. It cancels out the reflection of the gloss paper.
They are quite expensive to produce but I sell them for a reasonable price. The detail on my prints are absolutely beautiful even myself will definitely keep it. The frames are 13x19 with matte made out of medium duty plastic (not too heavy) and thick glass. I've spend lots of my personal money and time to get best combination of the finish product. From rotation of the earth (that is right rotation of the earth) physical location, time, equipment, settings, knowledge, perfect weather, vehicle, printer, paper, frame and specially being physically and mentally fit to capture these moments. It is not easy hauling 25lbs of gear on your back everywhere you go all day long every day.
So far, this is the best print version I have. Hopefully someday I can make a living out of it so, I can help more people. I tried to make them as cheap as possible but, the best quality as possible. I do not get paid doing these work. The profit goes to my consumables and to my equipment.
They can easily cost more than $200 or more but I sell them for $100 with frame ready to mount and they are absolutely beautiful.
"I would not sell them if my self would not buy them".
Let me know if you wish to see it in person.
Thank you for your continued patronage.
