Works under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor or designated registered nurse.
Provides personal care services as assigned by the registered nurse. Provides home care services that reflect Unica Home Care philosophy and the standards of home nursing care to assigned patients.

Job Requirements:

• High school graduate
• Home Health Aide certification as obtained through successful completion of an approved program
• Visual/hearing ability sufficient to comprehend written/verbal communication.
• Able to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing.
• Able to work in a stressful environment.
• Able to deal effectively with stress.
• Able to bend and stand an average of 6 hours per day.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Able to write up to 3 hours per day.
• Able to communicate effectively with ill patients, co-workers, and general public.
• Neat appearance and practice good personal hygiene.
