The cancellation of our 2020 festivals was one of the most painful experiences our company has ever faced, and it wasn’t just painful for us; it was hard on the bands, fans, partners, and vendors involved. It has become clear to us that executing our full festival portfolio in 2021 isn’t possible, so we have made the decision to focus on our longest tenured events, Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life and Aftershock Festival, along with a newly formed partnership to co-produce Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival. Focusing on these particular events, which also happen to be our most geographically diverse festivals, gives as many fans as possible, from all over the country the chance to rock again.

With that said, we regret to inform you that Epicenter, Sonic Temple, Hometown Rising and Bourbon & Beyond will not be returning in 2021. All fans who had deferred tickets to any festivals that will be taking 2021 off have been emailed directly with options on what to do with their tickets, including the opportunity to be refunded in full.

We thank you for you patience, loyalty and grace. We cannot wait until we can be reunited in our mutual love for the live music experience, and hope to see you at a 2021 DWP event.

So I don’t know how this has been for all of you but I can tell you that I lost myself in all this s**t. Depression is a real thing my friends. Apparently I’m a slave to schedule. When I have tours coming up I eat better and I’m in the gym daily. But when my tours went away so did all my motivation. My eating got horrible because I only wanted to cook what I wanted to eat (which was generally Terrible for me) My drinking got out of control, I was stuck in my head and the gym wasn’t even close to a priority. Over the past few years I’ve looked at staying fit as a lifestyle and journey...not a destination. So about a month and a half ago I decided to take my life back. I know a lot of places have shut down again so for many of you a gym isn’t an option which completely sucks! But there are alternatives. Body weight exercises are available online. Running, jogging and walking are great too. Just make sure your heart rate is up and get after it. I feel so much better now. Through many months of this covid life I was completely lethargic. Why do anything? I’ve got nothing going on, I don’t see anyone and no reason so f**k it right? Wrong. If you do something, anything you will feel better and slowly but surely you’ll come out of the covid Funk that so many of us have found ourselves in. I’m sharing this to make an admission to all of you that I found myself there too. It’s dark, it’s lonely and it’s scary. Please know that if you feel this way, you are not alone. Find a way to make a difference in your own life. If for no one else, do it for yourself. You CAN do this. We are not going to let this bulls**t ruin us. I love and miss you all more than you know and I can’t wait to scream in your face again. I need some heavy metal therapy as bad as all of you do. We ARE going to make it through this and we’re going to make it through it together. I know it because... I believe it. We are resilient as humans and we will dominate this pandemic and put it behind us. I’m doing this so when they hit the “F**KING GO!” switch again...I’m ready for it! So f**k you Covid you can’t have me anymore! Stay awesome Metal Kids! I’m always with you!
