Good looking workweek forecast Nov 11-15! Fingers crossed, thanks Grand Traverse 911! ☀️
Grab your shades, fire up the Ferrari, and take the day off tomorrow! Some sunshine is in the forecast for the next few days, so enjoy it while you can. The unseasonably warm weather won't last forever. All that yard work can wait until next week.
No major events or road hazards to report, and we will try to keep it that way.
Surrounding Veterans Day 2023 (observed Nov 10 and on Nov 11), we honor and pay tribute to our American Military servicemembers. Any day of the year, consider a visit to the National World War II Museum in New Orleans if you are in the area. It’s a remarkable campus with engaging exhibits and experiences for all ages.
Home The National WWII Museum tells the story of the American Experience in the war that changed the world - why it was fought, how it was won, and what it means today.

Make your voices heard on Election Day, Nov 8. Be prepared by reviewing your specific ballot here:
Each September 11, Americans across the United States lower flags to half-staff to remember and honor our heroes who lost their lives and those who sacrificed their lives for others on 9/11/01. It is a devastating day that we’ll never forget.
This year in accordance with a proclamation issued by President Biden, flags are currently at half-staff as a mark of respect for the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. A notification will be issued on the date flags are to be returned to full staff.
Today on 9/11 we remember those who lost their lives, those who stepped up to serve, and the countless sacrifices made in the days, months, and years after the attacks.

CPAN -- The Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault will be hosting a members zoom roundtable on Thursday, Nov 11 at 4 pm. If you’d like to join CPAN or learn more, visit their web site. Statement below regarding recent decisions of MCCA and Gov. Whitmer. Learn more here.
“This move is a gift to auto insurers. Gov. Whitmer and the MCCA are financing refunds by raiding a fund designed to care for survivors of catastrophic auto accidents, even as victims continue to lose care due to Michigan’s government-mandated 45%-cut on care reimbursements. Without a doubt, consumers deserve relief from high premiums charged by auto insurance companies with deep pockets and jaw-dropping profits — but the source of those refunds matter.”
