McMenamins Edgefield History Pub tomorrow, February 28 at 7pm (doors at 6pm). Author Elizabeth McLagan will present A Peculiar Paradise. More than 40 years after its original publication, this book remains the most comprehensive chronology of Black life in Oregon. This Second Edition has more information included that wasn't previously available.

The Barn Exhibit Hall features the King of Roads - Byway of the People exhibit. Telling the story of building this historic highway beginning in 1913 in Troutdale to its completion in 1922 at the The Dalles, Oregon. Learn the trials, struggles, and triumphs of creating the first planned scenic highway in the United States. A must see before venturing out on the historic highway to see the waterfalls, vista’s, and scenery of the Columbia River Gorge.
