Fun, busy morning! Pool Party!!! 💞

All the sleepy, snuggly pictures that get posted make it look like we sleep all day long. I promise, we do more than sleep and snuggle all day! 🤣🤣 The snuggles, kisses and lovin' make it well worth the hard work. Many of you know, but those who do not, my oldest two kids chose to sleep with Iris and the puppies for the first month they were born this litter. Even though they have very comfortable beds and had the option to sleep in them, they chose to sleep side by side with Iris and nanny the babies for 4 weeks. I'm not sure who liked it more, the kiddos, Iris or the puppies. I wish I snapped a picture, but I missed the opportunity.

It's vaccination day! How else do you bring in 12 speedy pups safely?? A mobile puppy wagon, of course!

Puppies are 5 weeks old. They are loving their new play toys! They are really starting to play and show personalities. 🥳

Another first this weekend! Intro to hard food in their bowls. They have been getting soaked food in warm milk 4 times a day from 3.5 weeks until now (5 weeks Tuesday). Mom has decided it is time they start to wean. We let her decide when the time is right. She still lets them feed, just less often. They have a full set of teeth... I can only imagine 12 hungry littles. So, their first experience with hard food went a little like this.... 🤣
