Augusta doesn’t have anything on Trussville! After a week of rain we’re finally playing some softball!!

We tried our best but Mother Nature wins again. All games are canceled tonight.

We had a fun night with the Hewitt-Trussville Softball Varsity Team! The kids had a great time with their player partners and throwing with them! Thank you Coach Burt for a great time!

I just want to let everyone know about Rec Night on 4/4 at Goldie Paine Field. This will be a fun night for the kids to see high school
level softball, meet the players, run the bases, and much more! Players get in free when they wear their jerseys to the games. Please show up to the field around 5:00 to hang out with the team before the game!

What a weekend for Red Storm 14! We advanced to the final 4 out of 42 teams yesterday. The final 4 teams never got to play out because of weather. They decided to award all 4 teams as champions since they all won their side of the bracket.

There were some incredible teams out there this weekend. We played a good bit of them but there were some we didn’t get to play but enjoyed watching.

At the end of the day, we as coaches and parents are just super proud of the fight and growth we saw in our kids this weekend. You don’t get to the final 4 unless you’re playing ball. We hit well for the most part and our defense has turned the corner. Wins and losses are part of the game, but watching these kids mature mentally and physically at a sport they work so hard at each week is awesome to see!

Thanks for sending us positive vibes! Our girls feed off of energy!
