Since things here in Tucson tend to slow down for the Summer and with so many people taking their breaks and vacations, our new Summer Hours will be 10am-2pm Monday through Friday.

Even with reduced hours we’re still taking catering orders, serving breakfast and lunch all day (during business hours of course), and accepting online orders to make things easier for people on the go.

Plenty of good things happen on a Friday, and one of them is pizza! Every Friday is Pizza Day at our house which means all of our pizzas are on sale for a discounted price and is a great way to try out some different flavors.

The flavor pictured here is called “Holy Moly Matrimony”. Some say it's a match made in heaven, and even though it was actually made on earth, this pizza is nothing short of divine. Bacon, Date, and Goat Cheese make up the trinity of top tier pizza pairings: salty, sweet, and savory.

Who doesn’t love fresh baked goods (seriously, who are you?) Our mouths are elated that these delectable goodies from Baked can now be found in our café! For anyone looking for a morning treat or a midday snack, come get your fix!

You’ll also still be able to find “Baked” goods at Soul Food Wednesdays and Every Friday from 5pm-8pm at AZ Beer House.

Here’s a fun fact: One of the very first “favorites” at the shop was anything that had beets in it (namely the Pesto Beet Salad, and BLG). These hearty refreshing root vegetables are even better knowing that they’re locally grown and harvested close to home coming from Blue Sky Organic Farms and Pivot Produce .

The BLG is a take on (you guessed it) the classic BLT, made instead with slices of organic roasted red and golden Beets with red balsamic drizzle, green leaf Lettuce, and fresh local dill mixed with Goat cheese spread on two slices of toasted bread. A perfect refreshing sandwich that gives you a nutrient boost and leaves you feeling satiated.

Did you know that tomorrow is International Picnic Day? While it may not be perfect picnic weather (at least where we’re at) our deli case is full of parfaits, fruit bowls, salads, sandwiches, and to-go entrees that are perfect for picnics, BBQ’s, or quick grab and go! While we're not open on Saturdays (yet) we are open Monday through Friday 8am-3pm rain or shine!

And while sometimes they sell out pretty fast, we also carry a rotating variety of ready to heat and eat meals from AZ Fit Kitchen offering keto-friendly, plant-based, and traditional options!

We're not 100% sure why our BLT is consistently one of the most popular menu items. Perhaps it’s the warm slices of bread fresh out of the toaster, maybe it’s the light crunch of some crisp leaf lettuce. It could be the hearty slices of tomato sprinkled with a generous amount of salt and pepper. Or maybe it’s the bountiful heap of smoked bacon strips fresh off the griddle. Or there’s a chance it’s all of those things layered together to create the perfect sandwich. We honestly can’t say for sure, but we think we have an idea why 😉

My goodness what a week it's been! Such a busy week in fact that we haven't even gotten a chance to share much of it at all!

All of the specials this week were absolutely amazing, and we have to give a special shoutout to the Black King Oyster Mushrooms provided by Fungirls' Fungi that were SO DELICIOUS the mushroom soup sold out pretty much immediately.

Thursday was wild co-hosting the 2nd Annual 4400 Benefit Chili cook-off, so wild in fact that we barely got any pictures. Tons of great participation and support with benefit donations going to Tucson Food Project this year helping feed those in need with fresh quality locally prepared food and meals.

And last but not least, we're thrilled to have AZ Fit Kitchen and their awesome health conscious heat-and-eat meals and cold pressed juices for sale in our market (with more to come 🤫) everyone has been thrilled to have easy access to awesome food, which is what we're here for!

After many months of preparation, planning, and a whole lot of cleaning we're happy to announce HHN Local Kitchen & Market is open for business on the ground floor of the beautiful 4400 building on Broadway Boulevard. During our soft opening, our hours are Kitchen: 8am-3pm Cafe/Market: 8am-4:30pm

So what exactly is it? We're so glad you asked! It's actually a:

Cafe ☕️ - get your morning coffee fix with locally roasted beans from Mission Coffee Imports including classic drip, espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos. Start you day off right with some healthy and delicious low carb/keto-friendly/vegan/gluten-free treats provided by Grounded Sweets , in-house muffins, or one of our breakfast options from the kitchen.

Kitchen 🍽 - In our kitchen, we believe in the value of offering quality food, using locally grown/seasonal ingredients as often as possible and making fresh food to order. Much of our seasonal produce is sourced from the amazing folks over at Pivot Produce who specialize in providing regional produce to restaurants and locals alike. Market 🛒 - During our soft open we will slowly be working on filling out our market space to include heat-and-eat meals, entrees prepared by local restaurants and caterers, fresh produce, handmade gifts/essentials and a whole lot more.
