VUA is looking to hiring a Seamstress to support our new and growing team. The Seamstress will be responsible for measuring, cutting, fitting, and sewing different mediums. The mediums will consist of fabric and leather materials, cloth webbing in the fabrication of upholstery, sofa and armchairs, bedheads, bar stools, dining room chairs, dental chairs, and a small variety of other articles. This is a per diem position that will help our team distribute current and incoming inventory more efficient and effective.

We are looking for a hard-working individual that can manage their time effectively with minimal supervision needed. This role requires motivation, passion, and a sense of self accountability since your day-to-day work will involve coming to the shop at your own hours or working remotely, being able to complete jobs on time and by request.

Had a great time working on these pieces, completely took the chairs and sofas apart. Fortified the springs by adding webbing & support, replaced foam in all seat cushions, added soft fill for all back cushions, replaced dust covers, and replaced all furniture slides.

There’s no better feeling than a customers happy face after delivering their restored furniture set as if it was brand new!
