It was a privilege and honor to witness Bishop Kicanas preside over Solemn Vespers as part of the Installation Celebrations for Bishop Edward Weisenburger as the Seventh Bishop of the Diocese of Tucson. Vespers was both beautiful and bittersweet as it was Bishop Kicanas' last time sitting in the Diocesan Cathedra (Bishop's Chair). This beloved Bishop has served our community as a loving father and faithful friend, and having him as part of our family has been a true blessing. We are also blessed to be welcoming a new member to our family, Bishop Weisenburger. We look forward to what he humbly is bringing to our community as the Diocese of Tucson is official handed over to him at the Installation Mass.
