Mom and I made these boxed diamond scrap quilts as gifts for Christmas. The blue one we made for my oldest son, Tony, and his wonderful wife, Jessica. The green one we made for my middle son, Kyle, and the yellow for my youngest, Matthew. We started them a few months ago, then after Thanksgiving Mom and I worked on them almost every day to finish them by Christmas. 😊❤️
The quilt with the Laurel Burch images is my first quilt. The purple boxed diamond scrap lap quilt is the first top I did with my mom and she just finished quilting both on her long arm quilting machine.
My father-in law makes museum quality wood models and he’s giving me this beautiful french tuna fishing yawl, the “Marie Jeanne” circa 1900 that he made several years ago and is one of his favorites. I am so fortunate that he has gifted this gorgeous model to me.
Happy New Year! Here’s to a fabulous 2024. May you have a safe year filled with good times and great memories.
A beautiful Arizona sunrise pic my hubby took on the way to work. He takes the best photos. He’s been a professional photographer, so he has lots of experience. 😊❤️
Martin decorated cute little gingerbread men and women for a party. 😁
Here are 3 photos of part of my dessert village. For fun, post a picture of your holiday village in the comments! :) 🎄 🎁 ❄️

We enjoyed our Valley of the Sun romance writers holiday party yesterday! Photos are of Martin and me, our chapter board—Tina McCright, Cathy McDavid and me, plus Dani Petrone and Deloris Nash with yours truly.
Photo of a beautiful sunrise in Hereford, AZ that my hubby took. It looks like the clouds are on fire. :)
Cirque Dreams Holidaze!
Martin and I are having a nice dinner out before a show in Tucson. We’re having a shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. I just ordered the sea bass and Martin is having the mahi mahi. Enjoying my cosmo!
Nikki and Checkers got haircuts, so they also got coats! Soft and puffy, and they aren’t shivering anymore. Nikki wasn’t thrilled with having to pose for the picture, but she finally did. :) Every year, Checkers’ favorite place to hang out is beneath the tree. :) 🎄 🐶
Our bigger Christmas tree is decorated! We don’t pick a theme—most of the ornaments we’ve collected over many years have meaning to us. We have stockings for all of our fur babies. We started hanging them for our cockapoo and bichon poo about 8 years ago, but our family has certainly grown since then with our ragdoll cats and corgis. I was thrilled to find that the same types of stockings were still available. :) 🎁 🎅 🎄 ☃️ ❄️
This is our travel Christmas tree! I met a wonderful lady on our river cruise this summer (Hi!) and she gave me this idea. We hung all of the ornaments we’ve collected from countries and places we have visited. Previous years we put them on our bigger tree. I added lead crystal stars and snowflakes to the travel tree for sparkle. :) We’re waiting for a tree topper to come in. :) 🎄 🎅 ❄️ ⛄ 🎁
Country Mist is available now at all your favorite eBook retailers! It's also available in print on Amazon! 🤠 🌵

Zoey and Freya are 1 year old this month. These two are joined at the hip and play and do everything else together. Who can resist corgis?
We’re having Thanksgiving dinner with Martin’s family this year. The table is set for the ham, turkey, and a whole lot of sides. We made the green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, and a sweet potato and apple casserole.
I hope you all have a special day today, whether spending time with family and friends or your fur babies. I’m so grateful for my family— my husband, Martin, my sons Tony, Kyle, and Matthew; my mom, Karen; my three grandsons, Evan, Logan, and Robby; and my wonderful daughter-in-law, Jessica. I have cousins I adore, including Shawna and Lora. I love you all and I’m so grateful and blessed to have you.
We alternate holidays and this year we’re at my Father-in -law’s with Martin’s family. Christmas will be at our home with his family and my mom and two of my sons. I would give anything to have my oldest, his wife, and his boys, but maybe next year.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving sunrise in Scottsdale Arizona. Happy Thanksgiving!
My husband, the cat whisperer. Sophie never cuddles, but here she is, loving being in his arms. I know the feeling!
Martin and I have gotten into playing Everdell, and I really enjoy it. I think it’s what you call a worker placement game, and the artwork is beautiful. We enjoy it so much that we got the big box with the complete collection with all the expansions. Awesome game!
If you haven’t started my King Creek Cowboys series, here’s the reading order, starting with Country Heat and ending at Country Mist, which is due out on Dec. 4th. This is one of my favorite series that I have written—I have fun with the characters and lots of cowboys!
I’m late in posting these pics. Four of the Butterscotch Martini Girls enjoyed high tea at the English Rose Tea Room in Carefree, AZ. It’s a lovely place to enjoy tea with friends. Kayce Lassiter, Dani Petrone, Jennifer Ashley and I had a terrific time. Lots of tea and good food had by all. I especially enjoyed the Paris tea and the scones with lots of clotted cream. :)
I had my hair done with Kassandra, my beautiful hairstylist. She is a lot of fun and great at what she does! She put a touch of bright red in my hair that will turn an even brighter pink after a couple of washings. I love the way that she puts it beneath so that it plays peekaboo. :)
Free! Champagne and Chaps is available for Free for a limited time. Get your copy before it goes back to $3.99! 🤠 🌵
