Just Sayin'

It’s 2017, and I ask him,
(and by “him” I mean my fiancé)
“If I did this, and I got a job in a different city, would you move with me?”
And he said, “No”
At that exact moment in time,
2 things happened:
1. I was shockingly heartbroken
2. The last single f**k I could give about him, or that relationship slowly wrangled it’s way out of my grip…
I knew, right then and there…
“Well, that’s not gonna work.”
Ah, well.
He ultimately ended things in October 2018, but, we had to live together until February 2019.
That s**t was nuts!
Anyways… Now you know,
and knowing is half the battle.
He’s honestly a sweet guy,
and what we had,
when we had it
was magical,
and I honestly wish him
nothing but the best. 🤍
