I have recently taken over as Mission House Coordinator at Parkview Baptist Church-Tulsa. Parkview has owned this Mission House since 2004 and has hosted dozens of missionaries over the years when they are back home from their assignments.

Like any home, it has become dated and worn in areas, so we are currently not hosting any guests while we renovate and restock the home. We want to present a house that we are proud of and allow it to continue to be a place of rest and rejuvenation for our guests.

Super host again! That makes 8 times in a row. It’s a fun way to usher in the end of an era. At the end of this month we’re closing our Air BnB down and converting it to a long term rental. Air BnB has been a great experience and we’d definitely do it again, but in this season it’s time for a pivot. We’re excited to welcome our tenants into our first home and their new home!

My grandpa wanted to purchase land because he wanted to diversify and have a stable asset. He knew that it was tangible and could be enjoyed while it appreciated. We closed on this property on July 31st and he passed away on August 10th. He never got to step foot on the land. He also never got a chance to meet Samuel, but now Samuel will get to grow up on and learn to appreciate nature because of his great grandpas investment.
