I’m feeling quiet on here because I’m really sad. After we got power back, my beloved Opal Begonia needed to see the vet. Long story short, I made the hardest decision to end her suffering. I had 11 amazing years with her. I had no clue she wasn’t feeling well so this has been a sudden loss for my family. I still think I see her around the house and wait for her to jump in bed with me.

I’ll probably run sales once I can get inventory built up to help cover the costs of having to lose my pet. In what kind of world do we have to pay $1500 to find out you have to put your pet to sleep. I feel like the $30 paw prints should have been complimentary but anywaaaaaay.

On a lighter note, my 4 year old daughter has announced multiple times she is kind of glad Opal died because we are getting a new cat. 🤭 I can admit I do share the excitement of a new kitten but I will always miss the companionship of my Opaltini. 😢

I’ll probably end up archiving this post because it pains me to see her beautiful angelic face on my grid. 😭

I still don’t have power at home but my office at Wompa does! We had 100 mph winds in Tulsa yesterday and Dudley, the friendly neighborhood cat that also goes by Blue and Maybe, just that I know of, doesn’t give a s**t about our damage 😆
On a serious note, we are grateful to be safe. We are without power and my reception is super spotty so if you don’t hear from me, I’ll get back to you when things are a little less chaotic! ♥️
