PEST ALERT: Armyworms are invading lawns across Tulsa.
Armyworms are really caterpillars on their way to becoming moths. These moths lay their eggs in our area during the Summer/Fall before migrating south for the Winter. A female moth can lay up to 1,000 eggs. When these eggs hatch, the caterpillars begin to eat, and they can very quickly do significant damage to your beautiful lawn.
SuperScapes offers an armyworm treatment that kills these pests on contact. If you see any brown or bright green caterpillars, chewed grass blades or brown patches in your lawn please call us ASAP to schedule a treatment. Don't wait to protect your lawn from these destructive pests!
