Do you know what people notice first about you? Well according to a recent study conducted by the American Academy of Periodontology, 50% of responders said the first thing they notice about another person is their smile!
Your smile can also effect your ability to land that job you've been wanting. In a PR Newswire survey, employers stated that a persons smile was one of the first things they notice on an applicant, and is part of what they base a first impression on. 73% of those surveyed stated they perceived those with a nice smile to be more trustworthy, 38% thought of them as being smarter than those who's smile needed some TLC, and, 21% saw them as more happy. Also 57% of Americans polled on this survey, said they perceived people with nice smiles to be more healthy and likeable.
