Wednesday WIP

Joyful Courage, acrylic on canvas, 36”x36”. At the beginning of the year, I dared myself to do the 2 things that inspire me the least (although, I may love certain interpretations of landscapes and flowers, I’m just not into them). l’m proud to have managed to put out my series of 3 Chromatic landscapes and just in the nick of time, here is my darn vase with flowers. It took a lot of brainstorming sketches that ended up in the trash but this one was worth the try and I think it totally says “me”.

I’ve been upcycling my own art by using my prints in an unexpected way. I cut them up, mount them on wood panels, apply resin, do some embellishments and voilà! I’m quite happy with the results and they move fast!
