Added C Channel for rigidity and to prevent future warping. Use cherry 🍒 finish. Just need to apply Rubio Sheen to give a satin finish and it’s a wrap.

Another build in the books. Classic white shaker base with a walnut top. Not one 90 degree cut on this build (except 2x4 braces). Installed in its new home today. May many wonderful meals and meaningful conversation be had on this built in bench.

Upgrade to my sons play sword! Through resin in the blade. Got him thinking he’s got superpowers!

Slapped these boards up with a little and called it a wrap. Now this customer got a strong gift giving game this season!

Haven’t posted in forever! Been really busy closing out some remodels. Making 10 maple butcher blocks for one customer and carving out some juice grooves. Also wishing I had better router dust collection😦!

Here’s a desk refurbish I did for a customer recently. Modified the stationary center section to become a working pull out drawer. Added hammer forged nail heads to base and gave it a fresh coat of paint. Also had to fill many dings, scratches, and uneven sanded areas on
top and base. Refurbishes are always more work than it may seem. Many hours prepping, and sanding, but having my Fuji paint sprayer is a huge time saver!

Drawer box and new larger face for refurbish desk project complete. Primer and paint next.

Scored 2 free 3 inch thick oak cookies from a 70 year old oak tree. Died during the Texas snow storm. Was working on the homeowners remodel when the tree cutters came to remove from their yard. Right place at the right time. Air drying for a future project! What would you y’all make out of these?

Begun Sanding… Water 💧 popping grain to to swell up wood, revealing wood fibers. Then taking it to 220.

Final glue up for the Honey Mesquite Table Top build. Clamped up till tomorrow, then sanding and finish. This table top has a steel table base it will be attached to at its forever home.
