I went to a customers location to replace a starter . Everything went as planned and was cool .
I got my payment, said my last thank you’s and what not, and went to start my truck to leave. All I heard was a “ click” . The starter in my truck was not working . I tried banging on it with a hammer to see if it was just stuck. That didn’t work . I tried putting extra voltage to it to see if I can shock it loose and no luck. My customer walked up to me and ask “ do you need a ride to the parts shop?” My ego denied it and I kept banging around until I finally gave in and accepted reality. Got the ride and luckily parts store was like 7 minutes away. Got the starter replaced and I just couldn’t thank my customer enough for bailing me out a bad situation. It goes to show that God will use people to keep you going so always treat others like you want to be treated .

Hello, current and potential customers. I am not posting this to impress you but to impress upon you the importance seeking professional services in the automotive industry. There are many out there are mechanically inclined and work there way through quite a few repairs. There are few that took the steps to qualify themselves as professionals within the industry. Please understand, I don’t believe degrees, certifications, or formal training classes make you a better technician than the next.
