It's very common for seniors with dementia to imagine emergencies that aren't real, leading them to call 911 several times a day. Seniors with hand tremors, for example, can also call 911 accidentally.

With the RAZ Memory Cell Phone, you can avoid accidental or unnecessary 911 calls by selecting one of our three options:

➡️ Keep the 911 button at the top of the screen.
➡️ Add emergency services as a contact.
➡️ Activate the regular keypad for direct 911 calls.

We also offer the RAZ Emergency Service subscription, where dispatch agents will know important information about the caller. Caregivers will be notified of emergency calls by text message, adding an extra layer of safety for your senior.

In the caregiving journey, every help is welcome. Try saying "Yes" when people offer it.

Have a list of things people can do to help you, like bringing meals, picking up prescriptions, or staying with your loved one while you run errands.

Accepting help is easier than asking for it, so don’t wait until you "really need it" to get support.
